Recently, I have fallen in love with the name [name_f]Molly[/name_f]. I love how sweet the name sounds and how it can transition nicely into adulthood. Right now, I am thinking of the combination of [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f]. My only real issue with [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is that I don’t think that it has the same feel as my #1 girl name, [name_f]Ewa[/name_f] Svala, so that’s why I’m turning to you berries!
Does [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Eliska[/name_f] hold its own against [name_f]Ewa[/name_f] Svala and the other names in my signature? Thanks!
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] is nice, but it definitely feels different from [name_f]Ewa[/name_f]. However, I do think the middle name helps to balance some of that.
Also, since you’re talking hypothetical rather then naming a sibling, I wouldn’t stress too much about the names being different styles!
Although, I definitely think of [name_f]Molly[/name_f] as more little girl then adult.
Depends on where you live, I think. In the US [name_f]Molly[/name_f] is much more common than [name_f]Ewa[/name_f] – though the similar [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f] are popular - so they feel different because of that. But if you take popularity out of the equation since it varies so much by country, I think both names share a sweet simplicity.
As a [name_f]Molly[/name_f] myself with a three-syllable middle name, I love how it flows with your middle name choice.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] is traditionally a diminutive of [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Is there a form of [name_f]Maria[/name_f] you like? [name_f]Maria[/name_f] (or [name_f]Marja[/name_f] , [name_f]Marysia[/name_f], [name_f]Manka[/name_f]…?) might work well with [name_f]Ewa[/name_f], and you could use [name_f]Molly[/name_f] as a nickname.
