“Monday’s child is fair of face…” 🐑

I was born on a [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], character-wise I’m more of a [name_m]Thursday[/name_m] though.
A - [name_m]Friday[/name_m]
B - I don’t like any, [name_f]English[/name_f] or [name_m]German[/name_m] :grimacing: I’ve been thinking [name_f]Mardi[/name_f] would be cute though

I would be a [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] :cherry_blossom:! [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] is also my favourite day name so my answer for all three would be [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I am partial to [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] too which I think is super cute and favourite combos for both include…

[name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f] & [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] [name_f]Winifred[/name_f]!

What absolute dreams :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’d be named [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] :black_heart: I quite like that!

For a child, I’d be drawn to [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] either way - I like the sound of it in general and like that part of the nursery rhyme, too.

You got me wondering if I’d use any of the names of the week in Finnish as names… definitely not [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], keskiviikko, which literally means “middle of the week”. But maybe Lauantai which is [name_m]Saturday[/name_m]. It’d be quite a weird name (it comes from Old Norse and originally means “bathing day”), but it has a pleasant sound.

Mine would be [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], which I quite like. [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] is my other favourite day-of-the-week name, although based on the rhyme alone I like [name_m]Friday[/name_m] best.

I just realized that Friday “Fay” would be so sweet!

Looks like I’m the first [name_f]Monday[/name_f] of the thread! I actually had a cat called [name_f]Monday[/name_f] when I was younger :relaxed:

I’d pick [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] either way regardless of the “bummer” rhyme lol

My name would be Sunday. I love it, and the nickname Sunny.

I think Monday is my favorite day of the week name.

I also like Lundi, which is actually an Icelandic name meaning “puffin”, but also Monday in French.

That does sound nice. In Icelandic it’s Laugardagur, with the same meaning.

I’d be [name_m]Friday[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] two younger sisters were [name_m]Saturday[/name_m] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], and my daughter was [name_f]Monday[/name_f] and my son [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]. Weird, eh?

I like [name_m]Domingo[/name_m] as a name, as well as [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] and [name_m]Domenico[/name_m]. Also Shabbatai, for [name_m]Saturday[/name_m].

I would be [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] :black_heart:

Based on the rhyme I (obviously) like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] but [name_m]Friday[/name_m] stands out as well. Without the rhyme, I do like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]

I’d be [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]! I think it’s cute and the nickname [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] would be sweet.

I still think I would choose [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] for naming my own kid.

I would be a [name_m]Saturday[/name_m]!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_m]Friday[/name_m] regardless of if I take the rhyme into account. I also like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Monday[/name_f].

I have Lundi, [name_f]Mardi[/name_f], Mercredi, [name_f]Paraskevi[/name_f], and [name_f]Domenica[/name_f] on my list of favorites and I love @persephonescrown mention of [name_m]Samedi[/name_m]!

I’m a Saturday!

My favourite day name is Tuesday, closely followed by Sunday and then Wednesday. I can also see Monday working, and I really like Lundi :parrot: (closest I could get to a puffin emoji!)

I think it will :100:

I was a [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] baby, so I’ve always really liked that rhyme, lol. [name_f]My[/name_f] day name of choice would also be [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]. I think it has both the nicest sound and the best associations, plus [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is a cute nickname. Second-nicest sound is [name_f]Monday[/name_f] (which is a very similar sound) but not as good association-wise.

I was born on a [name_f]Monday[/name_f], which isn’t very fitting

With the nursery rhyme, my favorites are [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_m]Friday[/name_m]. Without it, I like [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]!

i would be a monday, which i can actually see?

from the poem, i love friday! i think friday would be so cool on a boy.

in general, i don’t really like days as names, but i really love the idea of thursday as a boy’s middle. i think that would be pretty cool

I’d be [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]

I would be [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]! :spider_web: :spider:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite day name is [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] though! :blossom: :sunny:

I would be [name_m]Saturday[/name_m] based on the day I was born!

based on the nursery rhyme, I would name a child [name_m]Thursday[/name_m] or [name_m]Friday[/name_m], but otherwise I would name a child [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f].

in another language, I would consider [name_f]Dimanche[/name_f] (French for Sunday) as it is similar to my surname (if my child was to have a surname different to my own, which is likely!)

I’m a [name_f]Monday[/name_f]!

A - I’d pick [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]
B - rhyme aside, I think I’d pick [name_m]Friday[/name_m]! I have always loved Fridays
