Here I am again looking for baby name advise. This time for a girl.
My little boy’s name is [name_m]Ross[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m] and even though [name_m]Ross[/name_m] was once popular, it’s currently out of the top 1000. That means we kinda like more unique names.
I’ve come across the name [name_m]Moore[/name_m] and I just fell for it. But I was wondering: is it too much?
I’ve seen that there is a nameberry page for the name [name_m]Moore[/name_m], but only for boys.
So should I stick to it or should I let it go?
I personally think it would be adorable on a girl. Boy names for girls are becoming pretty normal now, and [name_m]Moore[/name_m] ages well. I think it would be stunning with a long and girly/romantic mn ([name_f]Valentina[/name_f], [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] came to mind), just to balance it out and make it more identifiable as a girl.
I find [name_m]Moore[/name_m] refreshing on a little girl!!! I’m usually not into boys names on girls, but they’re all starting to grow on me. [name_m]Moore[/name_m] is fun, and I think would be cute with a frilly middle name.
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]

[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]

[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Lilliana[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
[name_m]Moore[/name_m] [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
I guess my mind is in the gutter, because I imagine all kinds of teenage teasing with that one.
I like it!
I was just about to say…
I agree with @boyandgirl, all I can think of is teasing. More what?
I agree with “…more what?” However, there is a Gaelic name Mór, meaning “great” ([name_f]Morag[/name_f] is a diminutive of Mór), and also a Hebrew name Mor, meaning “myrrh.” You could also use [name_m]Moore[/name_m]/Mor as a nickname for names such as [name_u]Morgan[/name_u], Morvarid, [name_f]Morven[/name_f], [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f], etc.
Yup. Me too.
Exactly what I was thinking. Also, if I met someone with kids named [name_m]Ross[/name_m] and [name_m]Moore[/name_m] I’d assume they had two boys. I think [name_m]Moore[/name_m] would work well in the middle spot tho!
