So DH bribed me with massages and other fun things and I let the US tech peek between the legs of our wee on Friday. Looks like we are having a healthy baby boy!
While i love the wild surprise of the gender at the end, i am looking forward to all,my massages and narrowing down the name list. We both want to wait to “see what he looks like” when born which I know may sound silly to many of you but with both of our girls they didn’t “look” like the #1 name we had chosen and I hesitate to name him now for that reason. We want to go into it with a list of names that we both like and have thought about etc. So forgive me if my posts are redundant as this is the only place where I can talk with like minded namers who are “into” it as much as I am!

[name]Shepard[/name] (my hesitation here is it begins with a S like [name]Seb[/name]'s name and our last name ends in a “r” sound)

Middle name ideas so far are [name]Levi[/name] and [name]Lazar[/name]. [name]Both[/name] chosen for meaning and also because they follow the “E or L” theme the rest of the family has going on. I have not found any other mns’s that the two of us like. [name]Andy[/name] likes [name]Ezekiel[/name], and while it may fit to a degree, our nephew has the first name [name]Zeke[/name] so that is off. [name]Enoch[/name] is another one we are kind of considering but its not for certain yet.
So any more suggestions etc are greatly appreciated!
Oh I totally agree with waiting to see how the baby looks! Also the vibe you get from them as well. I think it’s more special.

I really like [name]Wolfgang[/name], oh my…You have the perfect sibset going to use it. [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name] is so dashing and handsome. Please just pick that one now! [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Enoch[/name] is nice as well, but [name]Levi[/name] beats it out for me!
I love that combo too! The meaning “attached/connected” is awesome since he is to be our last biological child and it has this image to me of our family as a circle with him as the last piece, connecting it if that makes sense. Plus being an IT name and beginning with a L is neat. (Am hoping to use a L mns so [name]Andy[/name] and Vio will not be the only ones with L mns’s while the rest of us have E)
My only hesitation is that [name]Levi[/name] is moving up the charts, but being a middle name I am not too worried. Plus, with a name like [name]Wolfgang[/name] that is very unusual I think it would be nice to have a “more normal” name on there somewhere.
I still love [name]Peregrine[/name] [name]Lazar[/name] though, so, I guess we will just wait to meet him.
I really really like [name]Wolfgang[/name] and [name]Shepard[/name]! I prefer [name]Shepard[/name] spelled [name]Shepherd[/name], but that is just me. I wouldn’t worry about the S in [name]Shepard[/name]. I also like [name]Peregrine[/name].
I don’t care for [name]Julius[/name] normally, and in your case it doesn’t seem to match your other kids’ names.
I really like [name]Julius[/name] [name]Levi[/name] with your other children! I think [name]Benedict[/name] really fits with your sibset, too, and [name]Benedict[/name] [name]Levi[/name] would be super handsome.

I like your reasonings! I think [name]Levi[/name] in the middle is fine in regards to popularity. I feel like it matches [name]Eliza[/name].
Keep [name]Peregrine[/name] [name]Lazar[/name] and [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name] for when you meet him for sure, you’ll probably be swayed to one or the other when you see his adorable face. (If those are your top two)

I love [name]Shepherd[/name]! That is our top name for our boy due next spring - either [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Knox[/name] or [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Knight[/name]! We are keeping it a secret irl, too. For some reason Nameberry is the only site that is giving good feedback on that name, but all that matters is that we like it! [name]Shepherd[/name] [name]Levi[/name] gets my vote from your choices. I don’t think it’s an issue having two sons with the same first initial, especially with such a big family (how fun!).
