We love the name [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] for a baby boy but I have recently started crushing on the name [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]! WDYT of these? Can you suggest any more in the same style?
We like them because they’re strong, classic and have a celestial/sci-fi aspect.
Our top girls names are [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f].
I actually like [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] and [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]. It’s interesting and more unique while still being comfortable for others to pronounce and spell.
Other ideas:
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]
[name_m]Altair[/name_m] (brightest star in the [name_f]Aquila[/name_f] Constellation)
Alnair (brightest star in the Grus Constellation)
Antares (brightest star in the Scorpius Constellation)- would be really cute if he was a scorpio
[name_u]Oberon[/name_u] (besides [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m], it’s also one of Uranus’s moons)
I like [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] more than [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], but I think it’s less usable.
Here are some more I like:
[name_m]Ajax[/name_m]
[name_m]Odin[/name_m]
[name_u]Orion[/name_u]
Ares
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
[name_m]Perseus[/name_m]
[name_m]Sirius[/name_m]
Caelum
[name_m]Altair[/name_m]
Deimos
I read the title and was wondering if you were looking for more A- Greek mythology names. lol.
I somehow agree with pp.’s though… I really love [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] but wonder if [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] isn’t too much - maybe it’s because I think of the god and [name_m]Apolo[/name_m] Ohno simultaneously and it overloads my brain a bit.
I also like [name_m]Hermes[/name_m], [name_m]Odin[/name_m], [name_u]Puck[/name_u], [name_m]Titus[/name_m], Aten, [name_m]Horus[/name_m], [name_u]Loki[/name_u], Ares, [name_m]Janus[/name_m], and [name_m]Sol[/name_m].
