I really like the name [name]Morgan[/name], but can’t decide if I prefer it on a boy or a girl.
[name]Do[/name] you see [name]Morgan[/name] as more suited to a boy or a girl? Is [name]Morgana[/name] better for a girl?
I prefer it on a boy. There is nothing feminine about [name]Morgan[/name] to me at all, because of both the sound of the name and my personal associations. When I hear the name [name]Morgan[/name] I think of [name]Morgan[/name] [name]Freeman[/name] and [name]Derek[/name] [name]Morgan[/name] from Criminal Minds, who goes by [name]Morgan[/name]. The three Morgans I know are all male.
All of the [name]Morgan[/name]'s I know have been girls…but I think it better suits a boy too…which is odd since I don’t know any boys with that name. Sounds masculine to me.
Boy. Definitely boy. Morgans are men. That being said, I don’t see anything wrong with it being used for girls, just prefer it on boys. I think it’s a handsome, friendly name:)

It is honestly 50/50 for me. When I hear the name I don’t think boy or girl, even though I know more [name]Morgan[/name]'s that are girls.
I agree with gigi I know a few girl Morgans and a few boy morgans so I think its a true unisex name.
It’s unisex for me. I had a close friend named [name]Morgan[/name] all through high school, but I had a male classmate named [name]Morgan[/name] as well.
I will admit though, a boy named [name]Morgan[/name] makes me twitch a bit more than a girl with that name… so maybe it is feminine for me, even though intellectually I acknowledge it as unisex.
When I hear it I think girl, but I would much rather see a boy [name]Morgan[/name] than a girl [name]Morgan[/name].
I immediately think girl, but have known quite a few male Morgans.
I think it’s a lot better on a boy.

I prefer most “unisex” names on boys. I recently met a male [name]Lindsay[/name]. It was quite refreshing!
I just named my son [name]Morgan[/name], so definitely all boy for me.
