Moses or Kuyper

We are debating between two baby boys names: [name_m]Moses[/name_m] [name_u]Dale[/name_u] or Kuyper [name_u]Dale[/name_u]. Kuyper is pronounced [name_m]Ky[/name_m]-per. We like that [name_m]Moses[/name_m] is easy to spell and pronounce and both like that it is a Biblical name, but Kuyper is the last name of a [name_m]Christian[/name_m] theologian we both admire and also the name of the college where my husband and I first met so it has more significant for the two of us. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Honest opinions welcome!

Have you considered using Kuyper as a middle name? [name_m]Moses[/name_m] Kuyper [name_u]Dale[/name_u] sounds lovely to me!

[name_m]Moses[/name_m] and Kuyper seem like they are on far ends of the name spectrum to me. While I appreciate that Kuyper has a strong meaning to both of you I think it is best as a middle name, or a pet.

100% [name_m]Moses[/name_m] [name_u]Dale[/name_u] or [name_m]Moses[/name_m] Kuyper

As someone who actually knows a little Kuyper, I say go for that one! I think it is fantastic, has great connotations, and is solid. It is reminiscent of [name_u]Piper[/name_u] and has the great nickname Kuy/[name_u]Kai[/name_u].
