I like the suggestions of [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] and [name_u]Sascha[/name_u]!

It’s typically a diminutive of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], so [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] nn [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] might work as well. I’ve also thought it could work as a nickname for [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] as a stretch.

[name_u]Sacha[/name_u] is a good suggestion - and using it as a nickname could help too - [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] maybe?

Some similar sounding names:

[name_u]Shay[/name_u]
Dashiell/Dash
[name_u]Ash[/name_u]
[name_m]Nash[/name_m]
[name_u]Saxon[/name_u]
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_m]Samson[/name_m]
[name_m]Sanders[/name_m]

I’ve met one [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] (f) and one [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] (m) in the US. I find it perfectly neutral. I think all of the spellings are equally neutral, personally!

I would say [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] and [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] lean more masculine, while [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] leans more feminine. That said, I would personally use [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] for a boy as well, since it is easier for people in [name_u]America[/name_u] to spell and pronounce

I think sasha itself is pretty neutral! that’s definitely my favorite spelling of the name.

We’re also in the US thinking about using this name and Im more concerned about spelling difficulties I think. I think we will just do [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] if its the name we choose in the end.

I love [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] for a boy and I think it’s perfectly neutral! Although I have mostly seen men with the [name_u]Sacha[/name_u] and [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] spellings, I don’t think [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] is any more feminine than them. It’s one of those names that really could go either way!
