[name_m]Mowgli[/name_m] reminds me way too much of the boy in the Jungle Book. I wouldn’t use it on a girl, or any child really. It’s too Disney, like Tinkerbell or [name_m]Simba[/name_m], and I can’t imagine it on a job application.
[name_f]Alaska[/name_f] is a nice middle name though!
I think it would be a very unusual choice, and while I don’t hate it, I agree it will have an extremely strong Disney connection to the current and upcoming generation. It might otherwise be a cool, obscure literary name, but in reality would probably just sound like you named your daughter [name_m]Ahab[/name_m] or [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m]. As it stands, I agree with the [name_m]Simba[/name_m] or Tinkerbell comparison.
[name_f]Alaska[/name_f] [name_m]Mowgli[/name_m] would be more usable in my opinion, but can I put forward [name_f]Magali[/name_f] [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] as an option? [name_f]Magali[/name_f] is a gorgeous variant of [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f] that should be much more popular.
