Recently, I’ve been staying in a little country town in south [name_u]Texas[/name_u] and working as a waitress in a local dinner. But today I learned two of my new co-workers have baby daughters (7 months old or younger)! One is named [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], the other [name_u]Riley[/name_u]-[name_u]Jo[/name_u] (I’m honestly not sure how she spells her daughter’s name. And there apparently are many something-[name_u]Jo[/name_u] double-barrel names in south [name_u]Texas[/name_u].)
So, what do you berries think of their names?
I think something [name_u]Jo[/name_u] can work, but only if you use it carefully. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_u]Jo[/name_u] wouldn’t be my first choice in that case. [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] [name_f]Marie[/name_f]? I liked [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] in till I remembered the Teen Mom (Hate that show!) episode where one of the ex boyfriends has a scummy girlfriend named [name_u]Dallas[/name_u]. I think I would like it more if I forgot that person. Honestly, I think both names are functional, just not my style.
That sounds like [name_u]Texas[/name_u] alright. Hahaha. Is the mother under 25? That also wouldn’t surprise me. I don’t really like city or place names. And I think [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_u]Jo[/name_u] together sounds too boyish. I have at least 3 friends though with [name_u]Jo[/name_u] as a mn or as a double barrel.
Not my style at all.
I actually like [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] as a girls name, probably because I’m a fan of actress [name_u]Bryce[/name_u] [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] [name_u]Howard[/name_u]. I also like the name [name_u]Riley[/name_u] but I’m not sure if I like the [name_u]Jo[/name_u] part of the name.
