[name]Amelie[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name]
[name]Georgina[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name]
[name]Esther[/name]
[name]Freya[/name]

I’m also warming to the name [name]Romilly[/name] (nn [name]Milly[/name]) what’s everyones thoughts on it?

Sorry if the suggestions seem a little all over the place…

[name]Anna[/name] - Very girl-next-door. Not a bad thing, but I think [name]Anne[/name] is much more refreshing. [name]Anya[/name], [name]Annika[/name], [name]Hannah[/name], [name]Annelise[/name]
[name]Verity[/name] - Not my favorite virtue name, but it works. [name]Amity[/name], [name]Constance[/name], Solace, [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Mercy[/name], Merit.
[name]Amelie[/name] - I much prefer [name]Amelia[/name]. There’s something about the spelling of [name]Amelie[/name] that bothers me a little. [name]Delphine[/name], [name]Daphne[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Chloe[/name], [name]Rosemarie[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name] - I don’t really like this. It’s very harsh and not very fluid to me. [name]Petra[/name], [name]Greer[/name], [name]Sloane[/name], [name]Yvonne[/name], [name]Hester[/name]
[name]Georgina[/name] - [name]Love[/name]! I think this is more playful and sleeker than [name]Georgia[/name] or [name]Georgiana[/name]. [name]Carlotta[/name], [name]Elise[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Delilah[/name], [name]Melanie[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name] - I never liked this name that much, I think you have better choices on your list. [name]Stella[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Opal[/name], [name]Fern[/name], [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Esther[/name] - I’m neutral on this one. I like that it’s underused but still recognizable, but I wonder if it’s too old lady still. [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Edith[/name], [name]Florence[/name], [name]Estelle[/name]
[name]Freya[/name] - This is alright. I don’t have anything against it, but I wouldn’t use it. I think on the right girl, it could be super cute. [name]Faye[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name], [name]Susannah[/name], [name]Maybelle[/name], [name]Christabella[/name]
[name]Romilly[/name] - I like the name, but not the nickname [name]Milly[/name]. Makes me think of millipedes, ew. I prefer [name]Romy[/name] or [name]Remy[/name]. [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Araminta[/name], [name]Dahlia[/name], [name]Zara[/name], [name]Renata[/name]

My favorite hands down is [name]Georgina[/name]. There’s just something about it that makes it so sunny and carefree.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Tabitha[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name].

[name]Anna[/name]- I like it and think it’s a sweet name, but doesn’t have much spark to my ear.
[name]Verity[/name]- I like this one as a substitute for [name]Violet[/name] (which I like and want to use because of the v sound, but it sounds too much like violent to me).
[name]Amelie[/name]- it’s nice, quite french to me. I prefer [name]Amelia[/name], but it’s so popular that amelie might be an unexpected twist.
[name]Tabitha[/name]- it’s fun, and i really like the ‘th’ in the middle for some reason.
[name]Georgina[/name]- this is the name i want to say or suggest whenever someone says georgiana. I knew a georgina in [name]Ireland[/name] who went by [name]Georgie[/name] and it fit her so well. I really like it.
[name]Cleo[/name]- it’s a pretty name, much more interesting than [name]Chloe[/name] which is everywhere, but it feels a little incomplete to me.
[name]Esther[/name]- I knew an [name]Esther[/name] in [name]Ireland[/name] as well, and it was pronounced Es-ter, which is a younger sound to me. [name]Even[/name] though I like the th in [name]Tabitha[/name], I prefer [name]Esther[/name] as es-ter
[name]Freya[/name]- sounds a bit cold to me (maybe makes me think of cold in Spanish.)

I’m also warming to the name [name]Romilly[/name] (nn [name]Milly[/name]) what’s everyones thoughts on it?
I really like the nn [name]Milly[/name] for romilly, almost more than romilly itself, but i do appreciate/prefer that [name]Milly[/name] is a nickname and not full form.

I think I answered these as if they were supposed to be going on MY list, rather than how I would feel if I heard them. They are all unique enough and timeless and I can picture a woman holding the name throughout her life, which makes them all solid choices. I would be pleasantly surprised if, for example, I saw any of these on my Facebook as friends’ birth announcements. I wouldn’t be disappointed or bored by any of them, though I would secretly hope [name]Esther[/name] was pronounced the way I like it

[name]Amelie[/name] is a beautiful name and distinct from the increasingly popular [name]Amelia[/name].
I also really like [name]Freya[/name] and [name]Esther[/name] but prefer [name]Georgiana[/name] to [name]Georgina[/name].
I’m not a huge fan of [name]Romilly[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Ramona[/name] instead?

[name]Anna[/name]- Sweet and wholesome
[name]Verity[/name]- lovely, has great energy to it and a beautiful meaning
[name]Amelie[/name]- I have a soft spot for this name, I’m a big fan of French names
[name]Tabitha[/name]- I think [name]Tabitha[/name] is adorable on a little girl and dignified on a woman, also love nn [name]Tabby[/name]
[name]Georgina[/name]- I love this, more spunky and funky (in a good way) than [name]Georgia[/name], lovee nn [name]Gigi[/name]
[name]Cleo[/name]- I prefer [name]Clio[/name],the ancient Greek mythological muse of history, [name]Cleo[/name] is a nn for [name]Cleopatra[/name] to me, [name]Clio[/name] is more substantial on its own
[name]Esther[/name]- I know a little [name]Esther[/name], it’s so sweet and soft on a little girl and ready to come back
[name]Freya[/name]- I’m a fan, great meaning and history behind it which is important to me

[name]Freya[/name] - So cute yet sophisticated. [name]Inga[/name], [name]Thora[/name], [name]Leda[/name], [name]Lovisa[/name], [name]Annika[/name], [name]Vita[/name], [name]Maja[/name], [name]Greta[/name]?
[name]Romilly[/name] - I like it but there’s something stopping me from loving it. [name]Briony[/name], [name]Araminta[/name], [name]Dahlia[/name], [name]Anthea[/name], [name]Lettice[/name], [name]Alethea[/name]?

Good luck!

That’s so much for the feedback! I always worry my name choices will be too safe, boring or common!

I really like some of the suggestions, Anouska, [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Iris[/name], [name]Geneva[/name], [name]Martha[/name], [name]Anya[/name] and [name]Daisy[/name] all [name]Juno[/name] out at me - I would worry Anouska to be too Scandinavian when I have no roots in that part of the world.

Yes [name]Esther[/name] sounds like Es-Ta

I love [name]Amelie[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name] and am liking [name]Georgina[/name] too, though I never used to.

[name]Amabel[/name], [name]Camille[/name], [name]Camilla[/name], [name]Esme[/name], [name]Lenora[/name]/[name]Lenore[/name], [name]Estella[/name], [name]Corinne[/name], [name]Thea[/name], [name]Enid[/name], [name]Colette[/name].

My thoughts on the names:
[name]Anna[/name] - A very sweet, light choice. I think [name]Anna[/name] oozes simplicity and simply looks gorgeous. [name]Love[/name] the feel of [name]Anna[/name].
[name]Verity[/name] - Another gorgeous choice, I think [name]Verity[/name] feels very humbling due to her connotations and feels very sleek. [name]Verity[/name] is adorable.
[name]Amelie[/name] - I think [name]Amelie[/name] is a great twist on the ever-so-popular [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Amelie[/name] sounds so pretty, I adore the French vibe.
[name]Tabitha[/name] - I think [name]Tabitha[/name] sounds quintessentially British. I adore the whole vibe of [name]Tabitha[/name] despite the connotations of a tabby cat.
[name]Georgina[/name] - I have always hated [name]George[/name] and his variants this includes [name]Georgina[/name] I think the name just sounds unattractive.
[name]Cleo[/name] - I think [name]Cleo[/name] is intriguing choice, she has a certain spunk to her.
[name]Esther[/name] - A great name with beautiful religious connotations. [name]Esther[/name] looks vibrant and traditional. Very pretty.
[name]Freya[/name] - I’ve always hated this name, I’ve got bad associations of this name and she just looks unappealing.
[name]Romilly[/name] - Never liked I think she feels pretentious.

Suggestions:
[name]Emma[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Anais[/name]
[name]Gwyneth[/name]
[name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Clara[/name]
[name]Shoshana[/name]
[name]Maia[/name]
[name]Camilla[/name]

I apologize if I am too harsh!

[name]Anna[/name] - I would never consider using this name. It’s way overused and too dated for me. [name]How[/name] about: [name]Avalon[/name] or [name]Antigone[/name]?
[name]Verity[/name] - I never heard of this name before this forum. I like it.
[name]Amelie[/name] - Like other berries, I prefer [name]Amelia[/name], but even [name]Amelia[/name] I don’t like much. Like [name]Anna[/name], too dated for me. [name]How[/name] about: [name]Aurora[/name]? [name]Amethyst[/name]? [name]Zella[/name] or Xanna?
[name]Tabitha[/name] - I never really liked the sound of this name, but maybe on a certain girl, it’ll fit nicely.
[name]Georgina[/name] - I know that it’s not the state [name]Georgia[/name], but it’s waaaayyy too close for comfort for me. Sounds bad.
[name]Cleo[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]. [name]LOVE[/name]. [name]LOVE[/name]. It’s short and simple. Has a good ring to it and kind of a strong name.
[name]Esther[/name] - I love biblical names. This has a pretty sound to it.
[name]Freya[/name] - I don’t like how it reminds me of Frito chips… I know that’s a terrible excuse, but it sounds like the chips LOL

[name]Romilly[/name] (nn [name]Milly[/name]) - Again: [name]LOVE[/name]. I love the name and the nn. It’s too adorable. I would absolutely name a little girl this.
