My current name list

Just for fun.

Twins:
Charlotte Lorraine, after paternal grandparent’s, daddy plus daddy’s initials, & Virginia Thomasin, after maternal grandparent’s, no nn’s
Charlotte Leigh & Charles Lee Allen-first names after daddy, grandfather, aunts; grandma and great-aunt are twins with the middle names of Lee & Leigh; boy would go by nn or mn
I really like the idea of using Lee/Leigh for mn’s for twins if we were ever blessed with twins, make it a tradition in the family, mil’s dad chose Lee/Leigh as it was a family name. My husband really likes the idea of sharing initials with a child.

Girls:
Vanessa James, mn honors uncle and great-uncle
Vanessa Charlotte
Lorraine Charlotte nnn “Elsie”, great-grandma was Elsie Lorraine, great-grandpa was Charles as is daddy, numerous aunts named Charlotte
Cassidy Lynn, my mn, friend dreamed this was the name of my blonde-haired daughter
Romilly Anne, mn honors my mom and an aunt
Jolene Lucille, mn honors my aunt and I just absolutely love the name Jolene
Leigh-Allyn, stole it from actress from the show Good Luck Charlie; combines mil’s and fil’s mn’s
Gracelynn, my mn is Lynn
Marie Charlotte-my mom’s mn is Marie and my husband’s name is Charles
Fallyn Rosemary-grandmother’s name was Mary
Jane, family name
Mary Charlotte, both family names
Mary Jane, after my aunt’s baby who died in infancy, also I just love this combo
Alix, an old name that’s recent find for me that I’ve fallen in love with, there’s a very young Auntie named Alex in the family
Keziah, nn Kezzy

Boys:
Henry Robert, mn honors great-great grandma Roberta
Leland, mil’s mn is Lee
Jesse Lee Allen, in-laws mn’s
Remington Maxwell, no meaning, just love it, sounds downright kingly with our last name
Lee Allen , honors in-laws
Lee Edward, honors in-laws
Nolan Edward, honors in-laws
Justus-surname on husband’s side
Gage-husband, grandpa, great-uncle, great-grandpa all mechanics
Avery (Avery Brooks=SEX APPEAL)
Morgan (Morgan Freeman=dignity)
Abraham
Saul
Tyler
Justin
Lonnie, a great-uncle’s name
Arizona
Dakota
Dustin
Cassius, so I can call him Cash
Cass, probably would be short for Cassidy
Dalton-my ABSOLUTE favorite boys name
Waylon
Walton, after grandfather, nn’d Wall
David, as a mn ONLY, to honor multiple family members

Most of these I already know my husband would never go for. Generally would go by full names as I almost always prefer the full name to any nn’s. Charles being the exception as grandpa was Charles and husband is Charlie so a new Charles would have to be called something else (NOT C.J.!!!).

I love [name]Abraham[/name], [name]Waylon[/name], [name]Dalton[/name], and [name]Dakota[/name]. And [name]Avery[/name]. I’m with you on [name]Avery[/name] [name]Brooks[/name]. That’s why I can never see [name]Avery[/name] as a girls name.

Girls:
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], both family names

Boys:
[name]Henry[/name] [name]Robert[/name], mn honors great-great grandma [name]Roberta[/name]
[name]Jesse[/name] [name]Lee[/name] [name]Allen[/name], in-laws mn’s
[name]Remington[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Nolan[/name] [name]Edward[/name], honors in-laws
[name]Gage[/name]-husband, grandpa, great-uncle, great-grandpa all mechanics
[name]Abraham[/name]
[name]Dakota[/name]

[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Lorraine[/name] & [name]Virginia[/name] [name]Thomasin[/name] – This is really cute!
[name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] & [name]Charles[/name] [name]Lee[/name] [name]Allen[/name] – I think they are too close for twins

[name]Vanessa[/name] [name]James[/name]/[name]Vanessa[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] – Not a fan of [name]Vanessa[/name] at all. [name]Both[/name] flows are nice and give different visions to me. The [name]James[/name] really stands out in a cool way.
[name]Lorraine[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] nnn “[name]Elsie[/name]” – [name]Lorraine[/name] still seems really dated to me. I don’t “get” this one.
[name]Cassidy[/name] [name]Lynn[/name] – Cute!
[name]Romilly[/name] [name]Anne[/name] – Not something I’d ever use, but a really cool combo
[name]Jolene[/name] [name]Lucille[/name] – I don’t like these two together, and I’m not sure why. I think it’s the images in my head are very competing.
[name]Leigh[/name]-[name]Allyn[/name] – NMS, but I get why you like it!
[name]Gracelynn[/name] – Pretty
[name]Marie[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] – Seems a little blah
[name]Fallyn[/name] [name]Rosemary[/name] – Ooh, [name]Fallyn[/name] is cool
[name]Jane[/name] – Eh
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] – Really like this as a double name!
[name]Mary[/name] [name]Jane[/name] – As a teacher, I’ll let you know that she’d deal with lots of marijuana teasing in school
[name]Alix[/name] – I absolutely hate all the [name]Alex[/name]- names, but something about this spelling just makes the name seem so awesome. I picture a really cool rocker chick, but a good kind, not a wild kind.
[name]Keziah[/name], nn Kezzy – This is one of those names I am not on board with, but feel like if I just knew one for real, I could really like it.

[name]Henry[/name] [name]Robert[/name] – Boring but handsome
[name]Leland[/name] – It is a fat old man to me
[name]Jesse[/name] [name]Lee[/name] [name]Allen[/name] – [name]Jesse[/name] is very meh to me.
[name]Remington[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] – Very kingly!
[name]Lee[/name] [name]Allen[/name] - -nice to honor, but a very boring.
[name]Lee[/name] [name]Edward[/name] – boring
[name]Nolan[/name] [name]Edward[/name] – I don’t care for [name]Nolan[/name]. I feel it is a tongue twister
[name]Justus[/name] – could be cool
[name]Gage[/name] – I think it’s a rough name.
[name]Avery[/name] – [name]Love[/name] [name]Avery[/name]!!
[name]Morgan[/name] – I adore [name]Morgan[/name] on a boy! I think it will be hard for him to grow up with such a “girl’s name”, but wish they hadn’t stollen this one. So handsome
[name]Abraham[/name] – [name]LOVE[/name]!!
[name]Saul[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t care for this.
[name]Tyler[/name] – Cute little boy name, but you want your son to grow up to be a man.
[name]Justin[/name] – My problem with [name]Justin[/name] is that I am a teacher. In 14 years of teaching, I have had exactly 1 kid named [name]Justin[/name] that wasn’t an absolute hellion.
[name]Lonnie[/name] – It’s very old-man to me, but I do know one 20 year old named [name]Lonnie[/name].
[name]Arizona[/name] – For a boy? I’ve known girls named this and think it’s kind of cool.
[name]Dakota[/name] – Another name that is mostly given to trouble-makers.
[name]Dustin[/name] – Another name that is just for little boys.
[name]Cassius[/name], so I can call him [name]Cash[/name] – NMS, but I want to like [name]Cash[/name] just not there yet
[name]Cass[/name], probably would be short for [name]Cassidy[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t like it on a boy
[name]Dalton[/name] – I’m not there yet on [name]Dalton[/name]. I don’t dislike it, so I think knowing one could make it cool, but I just can’t quite like it yet.
[name]Waylon[/name] – No. [name]Love[/name] the [name]Jennings[/name], but think this is an ugly name.
[name]Walton[/name] – [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Wall[/name] as a name. [name]Walton[/name] could be awesome though.
[name]David[/name] – [name]Love[/name]!
