My daughter has been bugging me about the name [name_f]Evie[/name_f] for days (her suggestion for baby sister) and looking through names and not being certain about anything even at this stage, I kind of do like [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Flows so well to me!
However, I would love a more formal name for [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Perhaps not [name_f]Eve[/name_f] itself because it sounds a bit choppy with middle name [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], but not quite as long as [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] either.
Any ideas? I would love something a bit more to the whimsical side.
ETA: Could Evie work on it’s own, as in, would it be substantial enough? Would Evening be too out there/weird/ridiculous?
I love [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! I think it can totally stand on its own:) love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f].
If not maybe [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]?
I love [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and feel it works very well on its own, [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is a lovely combo and fits in well with [name_f]Lola[/name_f] and [name_u]Indigo[/name_u].
If you do want a longer first name then I second the suggestions of:
I rather like the suggestions of [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and gasp [name_f]Evening[/name_f]. It hadn’t occurred to me and so far it’s the one I’ve liked the most. But would it be too much, though? That’s my worry!
I think if you like the name [name_f]Evening[/name_f] then you should go with it! I don’t think it’s too much. It’s a very lovely name. Though I’m a little biased since I suggested it
