Thank you all! We decided on his middle name only 3 days before he was born. We had previously decided on Marett which would have been a combo of our middle names since my daughter’s middle name are combos-but chose [name]Amare[/name] in the end because it honored my African family ties (maternal grandparents) and had the [name]MAR[/name] which honors both his grandfathers-[name]Mark[/name] and [name]Marty[/name].
