[name]Agnes[/name]: I actually like it, but for most it’s still way too old lady. I’d love to see a baby [name]Agnes[/name], though.
[name]Claudia[/name]: I think it’s very distinctive and a pretty name. The meaning kind of turns me off, though.
[name]Claudette[/name]: I much prefer [name]Claudia[/name]. [name]Claudette[/name] just doesn’t have an attractive sound to me.
[name]Clementine[/name]: I think it makes a great middle name, but it’s very hipster and it may be too much on an actual child.
[name]Elise[/name]: I’m not a huge fan; it sounds sort of wishy-washy to me. It’s not a bad name, though. I prefer [name]Elisabeth[/name] nn [name]Elise[/name].
[name]Emeline[/name]: I’ve never really liked this name, though I know it’s a board favorite. I much prefer the spelling [name]Emmeline[/name] and the pronunciation emma-leen, though.
[name]Greta[/name]: I really like it, though I prefer [name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Greta[/name].
Isabelline: Not a fan at all. It sounds made up and almost ridiculously princessy. It’d make a great pet or character name, though.
[name]Ivy[/name]: I love [name]Ivy[/name]!
[name]Josephine[/name]: I love [name]Josephine[/name], too. So many great nicknames!
[name]Lilith[/name]: I prefer [name]Lillian[/name], [name]Lilia[/name] or just [name]Lily[/name], but [name]Lilith[/name] isn’t terrible.
[name]Laurel[/name]: I like it okay.
[name]Louise[/name]: [name]Louisa[/name] is one of my very favorite names, but while I like [name]Louise[/name] fine, I think the extra A just adds so much more character.
[name]Margaret[/name]: I really like [name]Margaret[/name]. Nice, solid classic. Another one with great nicknames.
[name]Ottoline[/name]: I wouldn’t think to pronounce it -line at the end… I think it’s an interesting name, but reminds me of otters. What about [name]Ottilie[/name]?
[name]Rosalie[/name]: I really like this, though I prefer [name]Rose[/name], [name]Rosemary[/name], and [name]Rosalind[/name] (and my name, [name]Rosa[/name]).
[name]Sylvia[/name]: This used to be one of my favorites, it’s lovely!
[name]Violetta[/name]: I prefer [name]Viola[/name] or [name]Violet[/name], since [name]Violetta[/name] seems overly frilly and whenever I try to pronounce it it comes out all mushy, like vee-a-LET-a. It’s very pretty, though!
[name]Floretta[/name]: This seems even more overly frilly than [name]Violetta[/name], and I’m not sure it’s even a name. I love [name]Flora[/name] and [name]Florence[/name], though.
My favorites are [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Sylvia[/name], and [name]Rosalie[/name], but I do like most of them.
[name]Atticus[/name]: Many find it pretentious… I’m not a huge fan, mostly because it reminds me of attics.
[name]August[/name]: I like it okay.
[name]Benjamin[/name]: I love [name]Benjamin[/name]!
[name]Cosmo[/name]: I think it’d be hard to take a human [name]Cosmo[/name] seriously, but it’d be a nice pet name. What about [name]Casimir[/name]?
[name]Henry[/name]: One of my favorites!
[name]Leopold[/name]: I love [name]Leo[/name] on its own, but not a fan of [name]Leopold[/name]. I always think leopard.
[name]Milo[/name]: It’s my cat’s name, so it’s kind of hard to imagine on a human.
[name]Otto[/name]: I think of ‘auto’, but I know a few little Ottos and it’s cute.
[name]Theodore[/name]: I like [name]Theodore[/name] a lot. [name]Theo[/name] is a great nickname.
[name]Sebastian[/name]: I really like [name]Sebastian[/name], too.
[name]Roman[/name]: Too much of an adjective for me.
My favorites are [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Henry[/name], and [name]Theodore[/name].
