My new favorite name

[name]Noor[/name] [name]Camellia[/name].

Does it work with [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Teagan[/name]?

I always thought [name]Noor[/name] was a boy name, but upon looking at the Nameberry entry, it’s feminine. Still, [name]Noor[/name] feels very masculine to me. And although I like the combo, I don’t think it’s a complete match with [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Teagan[/name]. (personally though, I don’t care if sibsets match or not. I think it’s overrated.)

[name]Juniper[/name] [name]Teagan[/name] and [name]Noor[/name] [name]Camellia[/name] are great together! I like the reversal of the flower name and the boyish name. [name]Both[/name] have that same quirky, organic feel to them.

I know a girl [name]Noor[/name]- she is 9yo. I have heard of a few women called [name]Noor[/name] also.
I do like the sound.
It is a name I have only heard used in the Muslim community.
As it means ‘light’, a different option could be [name]Annora[/name] (also meaning light) nn [name]Noor[/name]?
But wouldn’t match [name]Camellia[/name]
[name]Annora[/name] [name]Camille[/name]?

I’m aware that it is a Muslim name, but I still don’t find the name attractive sounding for a girl. [name]Juniper[/name] is a very spunky, fresh name and they’re very mismatched to my ear.

I like Anorra [name]Camille[/name] a lot more! And it has the same meaning. What about Noir instead of [name]Noor[/name]? Although that one letter change does change the meaning from light to dark, Noir sounds more feminine to me. Good luck!
