I have to say I’m biased and think my niece’s name is the best one on the list, but I was pleasantly surprised by some, and had to roll my eyes at a couple as well.
I love your niece’s name, but I have to say, I was actually surprised at how nice this list is. I am not fond of Ryken, Jaydelynn (really?) [name_f]Sicily[/name_f], etc, but at least for the most part they’re all easy to pronounce and the spellings aren’t too left of center (except Jaydelynn… I can’t)
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is by far my favorite on this list. It sounds so sophisticated, and the nn [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] is short, spunky and casual. The only ones I don’t really like are [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] (I prefer it on a boy) and [name_m]Bronson[/name_m] (trashy hick town near where I live).
I recently saw a Tamberly and a Runette, both of which I have never heard of before. It’s so interesting to see what names people come up with!
From the list, I only like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] and [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]. I don’t like any of the boys’ names.
I agree with you - your niece’s name is definitely my favourite out of the girls. I also like [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
I’ll try and find my seven year old sister’s first grade class from last year, but here are the girls in her Girl [name_u]Scout[/name_u] troop and on her soccer team:
Wow, her name really is the best, but is also one of my favorites. I also really like [name_m]Bronson[/name_m], but the number of made up names is concerning
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Raegan[/name_f] (Reminds me of [name_u]Regan[/name_u]/[name_f]Regina[/name_f])
…
are the best ones for the girls. I think [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] would’ve been better than [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f].
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is such a cute name, she’s lucky to have parents with such good taste!
