My Top Names

Please rate them (brutally if necessary), suggest middle names for them, and tell me what you think my “style” is! I try to find names that will fit a person in all stages in life: an infant, toddler, child, teenager, young adult, adult, elderly, etc. They are in no particular order.

**NOTE: [name]Marie[/name]/[name]Maria[/name] & [name]Elizabeth[/name] are family middle names I would love to use for girls. I wouldn’t mind [name]Belle[/name] or [name]Rose[/name] either. But I love all suggestions. For boys, [name]James[/name] is a special family middle name. [/size]

[name]Adele[/name], [name]Norah[/name], [name]Gentry[/name], [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Marley[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Gia[/name]/[name]Gianna[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Maris[/name]/[name]Maren[/name], [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name], [name]Presley[/name], [name]Etta[/name] and [name]Isla[/name].

[name]Jasper[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Graham[/name], [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Taye[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Holden[/name], [name]Cohen[/name], [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Channing[/name], [name]Hudson[/name], [name]Joel[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] and [name]Grayson[/name]

Thanks!

[name]Adele[/name] - love it! A winner.
[name]Norah[/name] - love it! Another winner.
[name]Gentry[/name] - don’t like. It sounds like a car or a country band, and I can’t picture it aging very well.
[name]Harlow[/name] - like it, but it has a trendy vibe. With a classic middle name, it could work…[name]Harlow[/name] [name]Marie[/name] or [name]Harlow[/name] [name]Maria[/name] are very nice.
[name]Marley[/name] - eh, don’t care for it. Too masculine, too ‘dog’s name’
[name]Emerson[/name] - too trendy and masculine. I don’t think girls should have a -son in their name
[name]Gia[/name]/[name]Gianna[/name] - love it as [name]Gianna[/name] nn [name]Gia[/name]
[name]Evangeline[/name] - love it! A winner
[name]Sophia[/name] - I love this, despite the popularity
[name]Maris[/name]/[name]Maren[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Maren[/name]! [name]Don[/name]'t care for [name]Maris[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Carys[/name]?
[name]Aurora[/name] - love it!
[name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]! One of my favorites. I prefer [name]Tess[/name] just as it is.
[name]Presley[/name] - too trendy, and I don’t see it aging well
[name]Etta[/name] - I adore this, but as a nickname. Perhaps for [name]Scarlett[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name]? Any name with “et” or “ette” on the end would work.
[name]Isla[/name] - love it, simply gorgeous.

For the boys, I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Graham[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Joel[/name] and [name]Flynn[/name].
I LIKE [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Mason[/name], and [name]Grayson[/name]
I DISLIKE [name]Taye[/name], [name]Cohen[/name]
I am indifferent to [name]Holden[/name] and [name]Channing[/name]

Ok, you wanted brutal honesty and I’m good at it so here goes…
[name]Adele[/name] - A romantic and sweet French beauty. [name]Adele[/name] [name]Rose[/name] would be lovely!
[name]Norah[/name] - I like this Celtic name. I knew a girl called [name]Norah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and we called her both names. [name]Norah[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be equally stunning!
[name]Gentry[/name] - This name has two ways to go: country hick or high class snob. Neither image is appealing. Please give it a pass.
[name]Harlow[/name] - Prefer [name]Marlowe[/name] as this name is still too associated with [name]Nicole[/name] [name]Richie[/name]. I think [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Belle[/name] would be a bold choice. If you prefer [name]Harlow[/name], then [name]Elizabeth[/name] would be a great middle name choice.
[name]Marley[/name] - Not much style
[name]Emerson[/name] - Not a fan of names ending in -son for girls at all.
[name]Gia[/name]/[name]Gianna[/name] - These two Italian names are skyrocketing up the charts. I would avoid names that suddenly appear out of nowhere. I fear that their welcome will soon wear off!
[name]Evangeline[/name] -[name]Lovely[/name], romantic and feminine. What’s not to like? [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name] looks and sounds gorgeous!
[name]Sophia[/name] - Very popular but still pretty. I’ve always preferred the French version of [name]Sophie[/name] more but that’s just my taste. [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is beautiful!
[name]Maris[/name]/[name]Maren[/name] - [name]Maris[/name] reminds me of the TV show [name]Fraser[/name]. His brother [name]Niles[/name] always spoke about his wife [name]Maris[/name] but we never saw her. I love [name]Maren[/name]'s soft and gentle sound. [name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is a great pair of names.
[name]Aurora[/name] - Ok
[name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name] - I prefer [name]Tess[/name] but only as a nn.
[name]Presley[/name] - No, leave [name]Elvis[/name]'s last name in peace!
[name]Etta[/name] - Ok for a nn ([name]Henrietta[/name], [name]Marietta[/name])
[name]Isla[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name] Celtic gem. [name]Isla[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Isla[/name] [name]Marie[/name] or [name]Isla[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] would all work!

[name]Jasper[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this name. If you like alliteration, then [name]Jasper[/name] [name]James[/name] is for you!
[name]Ezra[/name] - An old Biblical name and [name]Ezra[/name] [name]James[/name] is stunning!
[name]Callum[/name] - This is nice
[name]Rowan[/name] - I like this name
[name]Graham[/name] - Not my fave
[name]Rhys[/name] - This is ok but [name]Rhys[/name] [name]James[/name] doesn’t flow well.
[name]Taye[/name] - Not my style. It looks made up and without much substance.
[name]Mason[/name] - One of the few occupational names that doesn’t end in “er”. Ok but nothing exciting.
[name]Holden[/name] - I like the sound of this name and the literary association. [name]Holden[/name] [name]James[/name] is swoon worthy!
[name]Cohen[/name] - Unless this is a family name, I would pass on it.
[name]Elliott[/name] - Very distinguished. [name]Elliott[/name] [name]James[/name] sounds like class personified to my ears.
[name]Channing[/name] - Not a fan
[name]Hudson[/name] - Not a fan of the “hud” sound.
[name]Joel[/name] - Biblical name that’s ok but [name]Joel[/name] [name]James[/name] is not my fave combo.
[name]Flynn[/name] - Very trendy but has alot of energy to it. Sadly, [name]Flynn[/name] [name]James[/name] is not a good combo at all. [name]Flynn[/name] needs a longer middle name to sound good.
[name]Grayson[/name] - I don’t mind this trendy name which is unusual. [name]Grayson[/name] [name]James[/name] is appealing.

[name]Hi[/name], @arial!

GIRLS

[name]Adele[/name]'s lovely, but you know what’s better? [name]Adela[/name]. [name]Love[/name] it! [name]Adela[/name] [name]Marianne[/name] would be gorgeous. Or even [name]Adelina[/name]? [name]Norah[/name] seems to be climbing the charts these days, and [name]Nora[/name]'s popular on NB, but she’s a pet peeve of mine - I will never like [name]Nora/name. [name]Gentry[/name] reminds me of the landed gentry, and it’s not something I would ever, ever use as a name. I adore the name [name]Evangeline[/name]! So, so pretty. [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Eliza[/name] or [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Maria[/name] would be very pretty for you. [name]Even[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Rose[/name]! [name]Love[/name]. [name]Aurora[/name] is nice, but sometimes I find the repeating R’s hard to say. Then there’s [name]Etta[/name], which is too nickname-y for me - would you consider [name]Julietta[/name], [name]Juliette[/name], or [name]Marietta[/name]? I’d use [name]Adela[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], and [name]Juliet[/name]. [name]Ada[/name], Dela, [name]Addie[/name]; [name]Eva[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Evie[/name], [name]Vanna[/name], [name]Lina[/name]; [name]Jules[/name], [name]Julie[/name], [name]Etta[/name], [name]Ettie[/name]? Pretty! [name]Adela[/name] [name]Marianne[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Rosa[/name], and [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]?

Then you’ve got these unisex (or slightly unisex-inspired) names - [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Marley[/name], [name]Maren[/name], and [name]Presley[/name]. I like the more classic, flirty style better, so I’d go for [name]Adela[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], and [name]Juliet[/name]. But, [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Presley[/name], and [name]Maris[/name] would be cool. Or [name]Maren[/name], or [name]Malin[/name], or whatever! [name]Harlow[/name] [name]Maria[/name], [name]Presley[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Malin[/name] [name]Rosabelle[/name]. Yep, there’s that.

BOYS

Uh oh. You’ve got my pet peeve boy name on your list, too - [name]Jasper[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t ask me why [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name] bug me so much, because I probably won’t be able to explain it. And, maybe you shouldn’t even take my opinion to heart, because tons of Berries seem to just adore [name]Nora[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name]. I am not one of them, and I never will be. Moving on to more positive territory…

[name]Ezra[/name] is a love of mine. Seriously, why don’t more people use [name]Ezra[/name]? It’s quirky and handsome. [name]Callum[/name] is nice, too, though [name]Cal[/name]'s not a favorite nickname of mine. [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Graham[/name], [name]Rhys[/name]. All superb! [name]Holden[/name]'s another amazing literary name that needs to be used more - I love him! [name]Joel[/name] and [name]Flynn[/name] are great, too, and you might like [name]Jude[/name]. I’d pair [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Graham[/name], [name]Joel[/name], and [name]Flynn[/name] together. Or, you might like [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name]. Nope, I prefer the earlier set - so cool and hipster and fun! [name]Ezra[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] would be nice, and maybe something like [name]Graham[/name] [name]Donovan[/name], [name]Graham[/name] [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Graham[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], or [name]Graham[/name] [name]Frederick[/name]? [name]Joel[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Collier[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Douglas[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Henry[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Isaiah[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]? [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Everett[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Isaac[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Joseph[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Peter[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name], or [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Wiley[/name]? I like [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Jameson[/name], [name]Graham[/name] [name]Patrick[/name], [name]Joel[/name] [name]Henry[/name], and [name]Flynn[/name] [name]Everett[/name].

[name]Lemon[/name]

[name]Adele[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it. On my list.
[name]Norah[/name] - Again, love it. Probably my favorite right now.
[name]Gentry[/name] - Never heard this on a girl. It’s ok, but prefer on a boy.
[name]Harlow[/name] - Like it a lot.
[name]Marley[/name] - Cute.
[name]Emerson[/name] - Again never heard this on a girl, it is pretty, but still prefer on a boy.
[name]Gia[/name]/[name]Gianna[/name] - I can never decide which one of these I like better. I’d probably go with [name]Gianna[/name] nn [name]Gia[/name]… both are lovely.
[name]Evangeline[/name]- Nms. Suppose it would be a nice mn.
[name]Sophia[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name], but so popular these days.
[name]Maris[/name]/[name]Maren[/name] - Not a fan. [name]Do[/name] like [name]Maren[/name] for a boy, though.
[name]Aurora[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this with the nn [name]Rory[/name].
[name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name] - Eh, just ok to me.
[name]Presley[/name] - No.
[name]Etta[/name] - Dislike.
[name]Isla[/name] - Like it, I think… I go back and forth with this one.

[name]Jasper[/name] - [name]Love[/name]! Definitely a fave of mine.
[name]Ezra[/name] - See [name]Jasper[/name].
[name]Callum[/name]- Big fan. Such a great name. Also like the nn [name]Cal[/name].
[name]Rowan[/name] - Like this for both genders… can’t decide which I like it better for, but great name.
[name]Graham[/name] - Nice classic. However, I prefer [name]Grant[/name] a bit more.
[name]Rhys[/name] - [name]Love[/name] as a mn. Very cool.
[name]Taye[/name] - This is my friend’s son’s name… I thought it was cool at first, now not as much. It just has a bit of that “made up”, “trendy” sound to it, imo.
[name]Mason[/name] - I do like this, but so popular.
[name]Holden[/name] - I’ve recently become a big fan of this name.
[name]Cohen[/name] - Great name.
[name]Elliott[/name] - [name]Love[/name]. So handsome and classic, yet still has that spunk to it.
[name]Channing[/name] - Eh, not a fan.
[name]Hudson[/name] - It’s just ok.
[name]Joel[/name] - Like this, but sometimes it just seems a bit boring to me.
[name]Flynn[/name] - Dislike. Highly prefer [name]Finn[/name].
[name]Grayson[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it. So handsome and can see on any age.

[name]Adele[/name]: I actually really love [name]Adele[/name], though [name]Adela[/name] is more my style. My favorite on your list!
[name]Norah[/name]: I’ve never been a huge fan of [name]Nora[/name]/h, but I definitely prefer it without the extra H and as a nickname for [name]Eleanor[/name]/[name]Annora[/name]/[name]Honora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name]. Not a bad name.
[name]Gentry[/name]: Okay, get ready for brutal honesty! [name]Gentry[/name] is just plain awful. I absolutely do not understand the appeal of this ‘name’, and I’m going to go so far as to say I despise it. Definition from Merriam-[name]Webster[/name]: “the condition or rank of a gentleman; upper or ruling class”. If the purpose of this name is so that your daughter embodies this definition, I’m fairly sure her name will give off the opposite impression.
[name]Harlow[/name]: Not a fan of this one, either. It’s way trendy, celebrity-inspired, and a surname. Plus it reminds me of the word harlot.
[name]Marley[/name]: Barring the fact that I have an extremely bad association with a [name]Marley[/name], this is just too reminiscent of [name]Bob[/name] [name]Marley[/name] and is completely a dog name, not to mention cutesy sounding and prone to multiple tryndeigh misspellings ([name]Marleigh[/name], [name]Marely[/name], Mahrlee, etc).
[name]Emerson[/name]: It means ‘son of [name]Emery[/name]’. Enough said. Actually, I’m going to second what I said about [name]Marley[/name] and tryndeigh spellings.
[name]Gia[/name]: Nicknamey and insubstantial, but it’s not to the level of [name]Maisie[/name] and [name]Lola[/name] and the like.
[name]Gianna[/name]: It’s pretty enough, but it bothers me that the correct Italian pronunciation is always abandoned for the three-syllable gee-AHN-a. Plus it’s a bit trendy.
[name]Evangeline[/name]: Very pretty, but too religious-sounding for me personally. Good nicknames too-- [name]Eve[/name], [name]Eva[/name], [name]Evie[/name], [name]Angie[/name], [name]Lina[/name].
[name]Sophia[/name]: A lovely name, but extremely popular. It’s a classic, though!
[name]Maris[/name]: It doesn’t really excite me, but it’s nice enough.
[name]Maren[/name]: This actually used to me one of my favorite names, but I’m not such a fan anymore, especially after I found out that everyone pronounces it ‘mare-in’ instead of ‘mahr-in’. It’s a perfectly fine name, though.
[name]Aurora[/name]: It’s a lovely name, but too princessy for me personally (and I love names like [name]Aurelia[/name] and [name]Jessamine[/name]). I also find it kind of hard to say.
[name]Tess[/name]/a: I consider both nicknames, but I feel like [name]Tessa[/name] can stand alone much better than [name]Tess[/name].
[name]Presley[/name]: Sorry, but this is just awful. If you want a name that will fit a person in all stages of life, look somewhere else-- this doesn’t fit a human in any stage of their life, unless their first name happens to be [name]Elvis[/name].
[name]Etta[/name]: I much prefer it as a nickname for [name]Marietta[/name], [name]Violetta[/name], [name]Juliette[/name], etc. It just seems like a hacked-off ending of a name. Plus, my accent turns it into ‘edda’ which isn’t very attractive.
[name]Isla[/name]: This is a lovely name, and it’s actually the name of my three-year-old cousin, but it shot onto the SSA list from obscurity to #600 something, and a year later to # 300 something. It’s trendy.

So my favorites are [name]Adele[/name], [name]Maren[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], and [name]Isla[/name]. The rest are all nice, but step away from [name]Gentry[/name], [name]Harlow[/name], [name]Marley[/name], [name]Emerson[/name], and [name]Presley[/name]. Suggestions:

[name]Lyra[/name]
[name]Violet[/name]
[name]Livia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Eliana[/name]
[name]Vivienne[/name]

Now for the boys!

[name]Jasper[/name]: This used to be one of my favorites. It’s hipster, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I like it!
[name]Ezra[/name]: It’s really not my style, but it’s a legitimate, underused name, so I fully endorse it!
[name]Callum[/name]: I like it a lot! [name]Cal[/name] is a cute nickname, too.
[name]Rowan[/name]: I’m not personally a fan, but it’s a nice name, and I much prefer it on boys to girls.
[name]Graham[/name]: I just think graham crackers, sorry. But it’s a perfectly fine name otherwise.
[name]Rhys[/name]: It’s very nice, though not a favorite of mine. There might be spelling/pronunciation problems.
[name]Taye[/name]: Where’d this come from? It seems very out of place on this list (and as a name in general). I don’t like it at all, anyway.
[name]Mason[/name]: Not a fan of occupational (or really any) surnames at all. It’s trendy and unattractive sounding, at least to me.
[name]Holden[/name]: Caulfield. I find it a bit pretentious. Also, I just think of the word ‘holding’.
[name]Cohen[/name]: I’m not sure, but I remember hearing something about how this name is offensive to Jewish people. I wouldn’t use it for that reason alone, but I don’t like surnames as first names anyway.
[name]Elliott[/name]: I’ve never liked this name for some reason, but that’s just me. I prefer it spelled [name]Elliot[/name].
[name]Channing[/name]: [name]Tatum[/name]. Surname-y and celebrity-ish.
[name]Hudson[/name]: I really don’t like this; it’s a trendy surname.
[name]Joel[/name]: Another name I’ve never liked for no good reason.
[name]Flynn[/name]: I’m pretty sure this name is going to see a huge surge in popularity after the birth of [name]Orlando[/name] Bloom’s son. I love [name]Finn[/name], though.
[name]Grayson[/name]: Again, not a fan of surnames as first names, and this one is boring and overdone.

My favorites are [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Rhys[/name], and also [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Elliot[/name]. Suggestions:

[name]Bennett[/name]
[name]Noah[/name]
[name]Jonah[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Miles[/name]
[name]Leo[/name]
[name]Liam[/name]
[name]Ciaran[/name] (keer-an)

This is BY FAR, the BEST baby name website I have come to. Brutality but with respect and EXPLANATIONS. I enjoyed and appreciated all of your reasons and opinions. Thank you SO much! Definitely helping! You, Berries, are the BEST!

ALSO: What what you classify my style as? I just simply cannot think of a descriptive word for it. Thanks again!

@arial

I can’t think of a single descriptive word for it, either, but to be generic, I’ll say you’ll be most at home with “hipster.” You aren’t preppy or yuppy, that’s for sure. You aren’t quite “hippie,” either, though you have hipster elements, definitely.

Specifically, I’d say your boy style is a bit of an easy-breezy cool guy, somewhat hipster, somewhat modern, and just a tad bit vintage. For girls, I’d say you’ve got two styles - on the one hand, you’re fond of feminine frills with a touch of whimsy and elegance, and on the other hand your a fan of short ‘n’ sweet, wordy, surname-y stunners. If you’re looking for more, I’d recommend the following NB Name Lists to you:

[name]Lemon[/name]

It is near impossible to classify your style because of the mix of (for the most part) charming, spunky and classic names with a couple of unflattering and crude names.

I like: [name]Adele[/name], [name]Norah[/name], [name]Harlow[/name] (although I think [name]Nicole[/name] [name]Richie[/name] almost has a monopoly on this name), [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Maris[/name] ([name]Marit[/name] is even nicer, in my opinion), [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Tess[/name], [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Etta[/name], [name]Sophia[/name] (shame it’s so popular) and [name]Isla[/name]. I don’t mind [name]Gianna[/name], [name]Gia[/name] or [name]Maren[/name].
I don’t mind [name]Marley[/name] but I think it will age very quickly, as will [name]Emerson[/name] (which I strongly dislike, it’s too masculine); I also dislike [name]Presley[/name] and [name]Gentry[/name] - in my view both would be extremely unflattering on a little girl (or a grown woman).

I love [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Ezra[/name]. I like [name]Elliott[/name] a lot (although I prefer it spelled [name]Elliot[/name]), and I quite like [name]Callum[/name], [name]Flynn[/name] and [name]Rowan[/name]. I don’t mind [name]Graham[/name]; and [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Holden[/name], [name]Hudson[/name], [name]Joel[/name] & [name]Cohen[/name] are tolerable, but I really, strongly dislike [name]Taye[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Grayson[/name] and especially [name]Channing[/name]. These last four, to me, seem extremely down-market and unattractive, and will age very badly.

I’m sorry I was harsh.
Good luck!

Your style: For girls, you generally like classics, with some flexibility. You don’t (with some exceptions) like excessive femininity for girls.

For boys – you like names that are off the beaten path but pretty much unambiguously masculine. That is hard, because with boys’ names, it’s often one or the other – i.e. it’s either [name]David[/name]/[name]James[/name]/[name]John[/name] or [name]Colby[/name]/[name]Sawyer[/name]/[name]Sage[/name].

I’m probably covering old ground, but here’s a few more thoughts:

[name]Adele[/name]: Very nice, but I think of the British singer immediately. [name]Adela[/name], [name]Adelia[/name], [name]Adalia[/name], [name]Adelaide[/name]?
[name]Norah[/name]: Great. [name]Do[/name] you like it as a nn for [name]Eleanor[/name]?
[name]Gentry[/name]: Sorry, can’t do it. Gentrification? Entry? No, too much going on. [name]Geneva[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name]?
[name]Harlow[/name]: Awesome old Hollywood, but very trendy. [name]Marlo[/name]? [name]Margo[/name]? [name]Greer[/name]? [name]Greta[/name]? [name]Audrey[/name]?
[name]Marley[/name]: [name]Bob[/name] [name]Marley[/name] smokes pot, [name]Marley[/name] is the dog in the movie with [name]Anniston[/name]. Can’t. [name]Bailey[/name]? [name]Marlo[/name]?
[name]Emerson[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, love [name]Ralph[/name] [name]Waldo[/name], love nns, still, can’t help thinking it’s [name]Teri[/name] Hatcher’s kid. [name]Emma[/name]? [name]Emera[/name]?
[name]Gia[/name]/[name]Gianna[/name]: [name]Gia[/name] is great, but makes me think of that [name]Angelina[/name] [name]Jolie[/name] movie. As a nickname for [name]Georgia[/name]?
[name]Gianna[/name]: Is great if your Italian, and a little harder to pull off, but OK, if you’re not. [name]Johanna[/name]?
[name]Evangeline[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, although it’s even better if you’re religious.
[name]Sophia[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it. It is SUPER popular right now. But, for a good reason at least.
[name]Maris[/name]/[name]Maren[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Maren[/name], not so much [name]Maris[/name]. The s ending is just prissy, or incomplete, like [name]Marissa[/name] or something.
[name]Aurora[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, love [name]Rory[/name]. [name]Golden[/name], Sleeping Beauty, Northern lights, good stuff.
[name]Tess[/name]/[name]Tessa[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it. Punchy, fresh, solid. They work as names in their own rights, but consider them for [name]Theresa[/name] to have more flexibility.
[name]Presley[/name]: Um, everyone will think of [name]Elvis[/name], and that’s a lot to ask of the girl. This is also not really in keeping with your style.
[name]Etta[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, but you can get it from [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Violet[/name], and others, and have more flexibility.
[name]Isla[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, but it’s not as unusual as you probably think it is.

[name]Jasper[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, but it does rhyme with [name]Casper[/name], and is trendy.
[name]Ezra[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it, makes me think of [name]Cornell[/name], and Better than, and some people will be a little confused. [name]Callum[/name]: Great. [name]Calla[/name] lillies, [name]Ireland[/name], doves, good stuff.
[name]Rowan[/name]: Nice sound but I think getting used for girls. A little like rowin’?
[name]Graham[/name]: Nice sound, still, always tied to the cracker for me. But also [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Graham[/name] [name]Bell[/name].
[name]Rhys[/name]: Nice, but [name]Reese[/name] is girly and [name]Rice[/name] is food. It makes me think of that one actor.
[name]Taye[/name]: [name]Taye[/name] Diggs? Pretty specific. Girly if not on him. Try something with a nickname of [name]Ty[/name], or [name]Cai[/name]/[name]Kai[/name].
[name]Mason[/name]: trendy, like [name]Jason[/name], but still a good strong occupation.
[name]Holden[/name]: Too much Caulfield! [name]Alden[/name] is better I think.
[name]Cohen[/name]: Is really a last name, even more than these others. Like [name]Smith[/name] or something.
[name]Elliott[/name]: [name]Love[/name] it. [name]Even[/name] [name]Elliott[/name] Spitzer and [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Smith[/name] don’t bring it down. It’s so bouncy and strong. [name]Channing[/name]: Wasn’t there an old-timey dame performer with this name? Also, I think of [name]Canning[/name].
[name]Hudson[/name]: Well, you know, the river is both beautiful and awful. Huddling? HUD?
[name]Joel[/name]: A solid name, but I think [name]Joseph[/name] is better, easier to hear. People will think [name]Joel[/name] is [name]Joe[/name].
[name]Flynn[/name]: It’s trendy, but still solid and cool.
[name]Grayson[/name]: Trendy, but still solid and cool. [name]Love[/name] the allusion to [name]Grace[/name]. [name]Gray[/name] works on its own.

So your best for my taste: [name]Norah[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Maren[/name], [name]Tess[/name], [name]Tessa[/name], [name]Isla[/name]. [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Flynn[/name], [name]Grayson[/name].

You should consider, among others: [name]Adelaide[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Marlo[/name], [name]Margo[/name], [name]Rory[/name], [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]Cai[/name], [name]Kai[/name], [name]Alden[/name], [name]Everett[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Chandler[/name], [name]Joseph[/name], and [name]Gray[/name].

Best wishes and good luck!
