On [name_f]February[/name_f] 20th we welcomed our new baby girls!
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u], whom we call [name_f]Effie[/name_f], shares her middle name with her grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma on her father’s side. We were so happy to be able to continue the tradition.
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], whom we call [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], was named in honor of my grandma, [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]. My grandma hates her name, so I had to get creative and chose [name_f]Margot[/name_f] as both names are considered nicknames for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. Our sweet [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] has had a rocky start and remains in the NICU, but should be home very soon!
Their big sister [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is smitten with them, as are we <3
All three of your daughters have stunning names!
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is one of my favorites, and I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. A beautiful set of twins, and [name_f]Effie[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] are too cute!
Congratulations!!
Warmest wishes to you, your family, and little [name_f]Rosie[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] is having a biopsy on her liver today and should be able to come home tomorrow where we can manage the rest of her care outpatient. Her long-term prognosis is very good and she should have no lasting effects, though obviously it’s possible the biopsy may reveal something more chronic it is not expected to at this time. It’s been a long 3.5 weeks, but we are feeling pretty fortunate over all.
