On the second day of December my true love sent to me…
Thiago Sasha Cove & Leandro Tristan Yves
Iago was born first, at 01:40 am, weighing 2 kilos & 100 grams and measuring 48 cm.
Lander was born second, at 01:45 am, weighing 2 kilos & 250 grams and measuring 48 cm aswell.

They were born prematurely and by cesarean, at 34 weeks. They are doing pretty well for premature babies, and will probably spend a couple of weeks in the NICU so they grow a bit and get strong enough to come home!
Vali came to meet her brothers this morning, and she is over the top with them, although she can just see them through a window. She is staying with my mom, and they say she keeps asking to see ‘Teetee & Leelee’ lol.
As for the names:
Thiago is DF long loved name, and I loved it too in the end. Sasha is another name that I loved but wasn’t sure if it was what we wanted on a first name, but I simply adore it as a middle. Cove is an unexpected, one-syllable name that just hit me one day scrolling through nameberry, and loved it immediately. Leandro is a name that goes pretty well with Thiago, and it’s mythological roots made me love it even more (and gave me the name Hero for a middle for a future child!). Tristan is, just as Sasha, another name that I loved for a middle. Yves, I just love its sound, how it just rolls off your tongue… And it made a perfect second middle for lil’Lander!
Thank you nameberries for all the advice on the twins’ names, they are just perfect for our family!
I’ll be a bit disappeared for the next couple of weeks, but when things are back to normal at home, I’ll be back online.
