My dark character is [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Amaryllis[/name_f] [name_u]Shade[/name_u], but people call her [name_u]Shade[/name_u] anyway, so no one knows her first name. Except for the main characters, which call her Seph or [name_m]Joe[/name_m]. I based this off a really cheery and sporty girl I know, somehow.
I really need two mysterious sounding names for my new book. it’s about a girl (name needed for her) who just started college for theater. She struggles with depression, anxiety, visions of things that aren’t real, self harm, etc. But while in the theater program, she meets a boy whom falls in love with her (boy also needs a name). She slowly starts to fall in love with him too but her sadness and self harm and visions deepen until she has fallen into a pit with no hope of escape. The climax is very… dark and sad but he (who needs a name!) helps her out of the pit she created by being there for her… and loving her like no one else will. The girl is sad (obviously) and likes to write poetry. She is stubborn and kind and very just. The boy is goofy, made mostly for a bit of comical relief, and full of love.
I really wanted some mysterious names for both of them. Does anyone know some appropriate dark/mysterious names I could use?
I think [name_f]Isis[/name_f] may suit your character, [name_f]Isis[/name_f] is known as the most powerful, female, Egyptian goddess. [name_f]Verena[/name_f] is also quite blunt and secretive and so is [name_f]Coraline[/name_f]. Good luck with the naming!
