My son’s name is [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] [name_u]Evan[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and for his brother I am really leaning toward an “H” name.
I have played with the idea of [name_m]Huck[/name_m]. I think [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] & [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] has a good ring to it. I just can’t come up with any middle names that flow too well. I like somewhat unique names with an old timey feel to them for first names and more traditional choices as middle names.
Any ideas??
I am open to middle name suggestions for [name_m]Huck[/name_m] or other “H” names.
Well, honestly, I’m really not a fan of [name_m]Huck[/name_m] as a find it harsh and abrupt. I also dislike the Hu- Hu- between first and surname…I don’t mind alliteration, but I think one letter of it is enough. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] and [name_m]Huck[/name_m] both have a very different vibe coming from them for me too, with the former feeling shiny and sophisticated, and the latter feeling rural and dusty. If set on [name_m]Huck[/name_m] for your second though, [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] would be nice.
What about [name_m]Heath[/name_m], [name_m]Hadrian[/name_m], [name_m]Hamish[/name_m], [name_m]Hale[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m]/[name_m]Henrik[/name_m], [name_m]Heron[/name_m] or [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] (which I really like with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] actually, because the U’s sound very different)?
I’m not a fan of [name_m]Huck[/name_m] for the same reason that I don’t like [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]-- I think these names both lead to a lot of teasing. As suggested above, I like [name_m]Hayes[/name_m], [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m], and [name_m]Heath[/name_m] with [name_u]Sterling[/name_u].
I don’t mind alliteration names and I don’t mind [name_m]Huck[/name_m]; in fact, I rather like it. However, [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] just sounds… weird.
I immediately thought of [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] sound awesome and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] sounds uber cool to my ears.
I also didn’t mind [name_m]Heath[/name_m] or [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] ([name_m]Hawk[/name_m] as a nickname?). I still prefer [name_m]Harvey[/name_m], though.
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u] &:
First two suggestions are my favorite=*
[name_m]Hyatt[/name_m]*
[name_m]Heath[/name_m]*
Helix
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_m]Hector[/name_m]
[name_m]Hadrian[/name_m]
[name_u]Howard[/name_u]
I like [name_m]Huck[/name_m], but I don’t love it with your last name. Hu-- Hu---- is too repetitive (in my opinion). Sorry!
It looks like lots of other fabulous H names have been suggested…I especially like [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Heath[/name_m], [name_m]Hadrian[/name_m], and [name_m]Henrik[/name_m].
With [name_u]Sterling[/name_u], I also like…
[name_u]Shay[/name_u]
[name_u]Flynn[/name_u]
[name_u]River[/name_u] (oh, but maybe not with last name [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]…)
[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Cyrus[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Xander[/name_m]
[name_m]Forest[/name_m]
[name_m]Graeme[/name_m]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
Thanks guys! Many great suggestions. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]. Wanted to name [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] that, actually, but SO says no way. It’s his sisters ex husband. ): awful, bc that name is perfection!
My favorite off-beat/old time-y “H” name is [name_m]Harvey[/name_m]! [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] and [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] are so handsome together.
I agree with many others that [name_m]Huck[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] is a difficult combo.HoweverI do really like [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u], [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u], [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u], and [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]!
