I’m nowhere near expecting, but I love to read name books for fun- any recommendations that are still significant today and not out of date?
[name_f][/name_f]I already have the [name_f]Baby[/name_f] Name [name_m]Wizard[/name_m] by [name_f]Laura[/name_f] Wattenberg and the [name_f]Marian[/name_f] name book by [name_f]Kate[/name_f] Towne.
[name_f][/name_f]Thank you!
I found a name book [name_f]Pam[/name_f] and [name_f]Linda[/name_f] wrote… but is now very outdated (they were poopooing [name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] which are now so in style!). [name_f][/name_f] I did find a name book that covers Hebrew names in a used bookstore, and that one I’ve quite enjoyed because it’s introduced me to new names and the opinions aren’t so outdated. [name_f][/name_f] Maybe something like that? [name_f][/name_f] Good luck!
Yeah, I’ve heard of the one by [name_f]Pam[/name_f] and [name_f]Linda[/name_f] but it did seem pretty outdated. I’m Catholic so I wouldn’t use a specifically Hebrew name but that could be interesting! Thanks!
For writing purposes, I’ve found Sherilynn Kenyon’s name book the best.
[name_f][/name_f]I think that last book [name_f]Pam[/name_f] and [name_f]Linda[/name_f] wrote was Beyond [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] and [name_m]Jason[/name_m], or at least that’s the one I have.
What is the one by Sherilynn [name_m]Kenyon[/name_m] called?
[name_f][/name_f]Yes, Beyond [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] and [name_m]Jason[/name_m]- there’s also a slightly newer (2009) called Beyond [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_m]Aidan[/name_m]
what’s the name of it? I’d be interested in reading it
I’m not Jewish either, just really like Hebrew names, and it was only a couple of dollars at a used bookstore haha. [name_f][/name_f] I more meant, a niche book devoted to a specific nationality of group of names might be interesting! [name_f][/name_f] TBH I would be interested in a book of saint names even though I am not Catholic myself… so many [name_m]Saint[/name_m] names are amazing!
Not home currently, but I’ll try to get you the title when I do!
Hey girl it is called The Complete Book of Hebrew [name_f]Baby[/name_f] Names by Smadar [name_f]Shir[/name_f] Sidi.
[name_f][/name_f]
thank you!!
The Book of Bible Names[name_f][/name_f] by [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] L. McQuade is the only name book I have, but I still really love it. I got it as a birthday present fifteen years ago and still use it a ton
