hi, i recently came to terms with my nonbinary identity. as of right now, i use he/they/she pronouns. i am very happy, but my birth name feels too gendered which makes me uncomfortable.
i love astrology, tarot, music, literature, nature, and baking. i am extroverted and love being around people. i have long black wavy hair and hazel eyes, with a lot of freckles. i am six feet tall.

I’m NB too, and I chose [name_u]Merle[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u], so I’m glad to see someone else considering it! [name_u]Roux[/name_u] is also very cool, and [name_u]Jem[/name_u] is fun (although the Holograms connotation might be too feminine among [name_f]Gen[/name_f] X people.) [name_u]Rain[/name_u] is cool, but [name_f]Evening[/name_f] is even cooler & less common! I think [name_u]Roux[/name_u] is my favorite, though.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] feels too masculine to me, [name_u]Diamond[/name_u] and [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] too feminine-- but names don’t really have gender, do they? So take that with a grain of salt. I’m not sure about your cultural background, but [name_f]Belén[/name_f] is very Hispanic, and I’d choose [name_u]Angel[/name_u] over [name_u]Angeles[/name_u] (leans feminine in [name_f]English[/name_f] but masculine in Spanish.) I’d also stay away from Shalom-- Rimon, [name_u]Leor[/name_u], [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] are some more gender-neutral Hebrew names you might like.
Of your list, [name_u]Roux[/name_u], [name_f]Evening[/name_f], [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], and of course [name_u]Merle[/name_u] are my favorites. From others’ suggestions, I like [name_u]Beau[/name_u], [name_u]Marlow[/name_u], and [name_u]Sascha[/name_u].

i’m actually half ashkenazi and half indigenous mexican so i tried to incorporate names from both cultures, but spanish can be difficult to find gender neutral names in.
merle is such a gorgeous name, i love your choice! angel, rimon, and ariel are amazing. thank you so much for the advice.

I have a friend that chose [name_u]Sol[/name_u] for similar reasons. [name_f]Fae[/name_f] liked it because it could be short for names like [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] and [name_f]Soledad[/name_f], while also being a sound-a-like to the masculine leaning [name_m]Saul[/name_m].

Have you considered the Hebrew name [name_u]Tal[/name_u]? (means ‘dew’)
