Hello everyone! We are having a baby girl very soon. I’m half Finnish and half American and my husband’s half Hawaiian. We’re living in [name_u]America[/name_u] so we wanted to give our child an American name which would also work in Finnish language. Here’s a few words about the name options:
[name_u]Kalani[/name_u] is a beautiful name. As I said, my husband’s half Hawaiian so that’s why we are considering this name. Unfortunately [name_u]Kalani[/name_u] means “my fish” in Finnish. Is it too bad thing?
We are thinking about names [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f]. Which one is better in your opinion? My Finnish grandma was [name_f]Nora[/name_f] so that’s why I like the nora ending.
So, I tried to make a poll about the name options but I’m not sure if I succeed. If it’s here, please vote! Thanks!
