We have three girls and now we are expecting our first boy. Scary and exciting! For some reason I am having a very hard time finding a boy’s name. I’ve got girls on the brain I think!
Middle name is [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] (after dad) and last name also starts with a B. So no b names (don’t want initials BBB haha!). I want to stay away from rhyming names like caden, jayden, braden. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Carter[/name_u] but it’s so dang popular I just can’t use it. We don’t ask any friends or family for opinions until we choose the name, but I feel like I need some help with this one!
Here are some I LIKE but I just don’t know if I love.
[name_m]Ledger[/name_m]
[name_u]Camden[/name_u] (hubby likes this one, I don’t like the rhymes with every other name aspect)
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_m]Grant[/name_m]
[name_m]Westin[/name_m]
[name_u]Landry[/name_u]
No gos that I love:
[name_u]Carter[/name_u] (love, too popular)
[name_m]Declan[/name_m] (again too popular)
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] (rhymes with middle name [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] so a no go
Whoa when did [name_u]Carter[/name_u] become so popular?!? #27? never would have guessed…
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Calder[/name_u]? I love the nature and art associations with this name. Or maybe [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]? [name_u]Love[/name_u] ‘[name_m]Dex[/name_m]’.
I don’t think another 2 syllable -n ending name in front of [name_m]Brandon[/name_m] is ideal. Or a name that repeats the same ‘an’ sound. I think [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] and [name_m]Ledger[/name_m] work the best from your list. Good luck!
