Due in February, I am not sure what the babys gender will be… We have our girls name picked out ([name]Finley[/name]) and are now searching for a perfect boys name.
Some names I like but cannot use due to friend/family having already used the names, or names we like but just arent sure of… (these ar both boy and girl names, just so you get an idea of our taste, although Im afraid its a bit all over the place)
Which one of those names would you consider as girls’ names? Because to me, they are all boys’ names. I’m just trying to get a fix on your style.
The only ideas coming to me right now are [name]Colton[/name]/[name]Cole[/name] and [name]August[/name]… maybe [name]Jackson[/name]? [name]Do[/name] any of those appeal?
I do love [name]Reid[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] & [name]Vaughan[/name].
I live near a town called [name]Vaughan[/name] though, and daddy to be has vetoed [name]Oliver[/name].
Thank you so much for th suggestions
You and I have similar taste… I love all your names and they were all names that I considered at one time or another. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I love [name]Sawyer[/name] (it’s all boy to me) and [name]Shepherd[/name] (I love [name]Shep[/name] as a nn too) and [name]Hudson[/name] (which is quite a bit trendier than the other choices, so however you feel about that). Oh, and I love [name]River[/name] too (it’s all boy to me as well). Sorry, I can’t narrow it down much more for you! Maybe if you could tell us what your last name rhymes with, or give us something close to it. I always take into account how a name sounds with the last name.
Also, you might as well pick a name that goes well stylistically with [name]Finley[/name] in case you get a girl next time.
Well I know that if I have a girl this time and name her [name]Finley[/name], [name]Sawyer[/name] is out for a future girl OR boy ([name]Tom[/name] [name]Sawyer[/name]/[name]Huck[/name] [name]Finn[/name]) same goes for 2 boys named [name]Hudson[/name] & [name]River[/name]…
[name]Lincoln[/name] & [name]Lennox[/name] also dont work well together…
Im leaning towards [name]Lincoln[/name] or [name]River[/name].
