I’m a mother of 10 children. Yes 10! 6 biological children and 4 adopted. My husband, [name]Liam[/name], wants just one more! My argument for saying ‘no way buster’ was to say that we don’t have any other names that would fit well with our children. sure i have my fantasy names and the kid s have theirs, but in all honesty i have no names that would work with my children’s. have any ideas? my kids are [name]Emerson[/name] [name]Josiah[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name] [name]Skye[/name], [name]Hanson[/name] [name]Cullen[/name], [name]Arabella[/name] ‘[name]Bella[/name]’ [name]Paxton[/name], [name]Gabriella[/name] ‘Gabry’ [name]Elise[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name] [name]Carter[/name], [name]Vanessa[/name] [name]Arielle[/name], [name]Shephard[/name] [name]Conley[/name], Mykaela ‘Aela’ [name]Haven[/name] and Nolle [name]River[/name]. I’m not going to have an 11th child ANY time soon, but i was just curious.
Oh my goodness 10! That is so amazing, I want to have a family like that someday I really love your kid’s names for the most part. I think there are lots of names that would fit with your children’s. So we need a sibling for… [name]Emerson[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Hanson[/name], [name]Arabella[/name], [name]Gabriella[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Vanessa[/name], [name]Shephard[/name], Mykaela, and [name]Noelle[/name].

Anyways, just some suggestions based off the lovely names of your children
Didn’t you just adopt your 10th child in February, and already your DH is thinking of more babies? Wow! Anyway, I think not having a favourite name is a silly reason not to have more babies, if you want them of course.
Boys names:
[name]Graham[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Caspian[/name]
[name]Quinton[/name]

No offense but I sincerely doubt that someone who actually has 10 children has time to post as many topics as you do. I only have 2 and I almost never have the time to be on the computer.
I won’t lie, I did notice this too.
Yes i do have 10 children. I also have a best friend who is with us during the day when we need her to be who helps with the kids. My oldest 6 are in school, my 5 year old is in kindergarten in the afternoon and Aela has preschool 3 days a week. I also take my kids to art, dance, vocal, theater, soccer and youth group and i have my ipads with me every where i go. [name]One[/name] for me and one for the younger kids to play their games. I also have internet on my phone so i can check and update and such. my eldest daughter [name]Evelyn[/name] also likes to post for me where i’ll give her a topic and she’ll post something as me. She loves this and [name]Bella[/name] has done a few of those things too. I really don’t like how yall are doubting my number of children. i have 10, i love them all and why would someone say they have children if they don’t? that is just sick and i am very disturbed you would ever even mention that. I’m sorry if it looks like i spend all of my time posting, but i really don’t. i can squeeze stuff in with nap time and when i;m waiting for my kids at their events and when i have a spare moment. My parents and youngest sister are also in town for 3 weeks right now and have been helping with the kids, giving me more free time.
To be honest kenzi I would lay bets that you are the same age as the supposed [name]Evelyn[/name]. I really don’t mean to upset you, if you actually have ten children that is wonderful. I have 2 and I am expecting another 2, if we ever got to ten I would love that. But when I was a teenager I used pretend to be someone I wasn’t on the internet too and judging from all of your questions, your grammer and apparent perception of what it is like to have 10 kids I would bet you are a 14yo girl dreaming of a big family one day. Like I said in my previous post I don’t mean to offend you and there are actually many teenagers on nameberry who contribute with thought out opinions on names and other topics. I would suggest you become an actual member. Teenagers have a different perspective on things than someone like myself at 30 and it can be great to have them help you remember what it is like at that stage of life and particularly with names how they would be perceived at school. Best of luck. [name]Andie[/name]
Great advice! There are alot of teenagers and young adults on NB who have great naming style and advice. I love hearing from them. I feel they are quite welcome here as opposed to other parenting boards where you might feel more pressure to pretend to have kids to fit in.
As I said in another post, I really feel a mom of 10 should be sharing tips with all of US. I realize adding a new child (no matter the # of kids at home) always changes the family dynamics, but really…some of your questions are quite silly. Dealing with jealousy, how to discipline, is your rewards system working? We don’t know! But you have 10 kids (right?) haven’t you had 16 yrs to perfect some of these questions? At the very least after 16 years, you have your own parenting style (good or bad!) and don’t have such a large range of questions…nor do you worry so much about what others think.
I agree with crunchymama and ajh. Some of the most respected members of this forum are teenagers
Wow, I didn’t realize so many of you were elitists about who can be here. Regardless of whether or not you believe she has 10 kids or not what right do you have to discredit her topic. If you don’t like it, don’t respond. Simple as that, there was no reason to get rude like you did.
I know plenty of adults who have really poor grammar and are awful spellers. It doesn’t make them any younger, though I’m sure they wished it did. So using that as a basis to say she’s not who she says she is, quite frankly it’s crap.
The only thing I will agree with is that I agree that teenagers do have a lot of great ideas for names, and I welcome them as I would any other age group. But seriously, you owe this lady an apology.
I agree with gigigibbons. [name]How[/name] can you judge someone’s credibility over the internet? They could be telling the truth…They could be telling a lie. You don’t know them. But who cares? This lady has asked you a question, and all you have done has ended up sounding rude without answering her. Which is a pity, really. Sigh.
[name]Kenzi[/name], here is some names I think may go well with your sibset.
Boys:
[name]Charles[/name]
[name]Donovan[/name]
Girls:
[name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Miranda[/name]
[name]Tabitha[/name]
By the way I love the girl’s name [name]Vanessa[/name] that you have chosen.
I didn’t offer any suggestions before because there’s a lot of names to try and avoid sounding similar. However I was looking at my bookcase and saw “[name]Johnny[/name] Tremain” and remembered the name “[name]Isannah[/name]” (Eye_ZAN-ah or Eye-Zawn-uh whichever you’d prefer really), which was [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name] combined by the author to create a new name. But it’s so lovely and not many people use it at all and it doesn’t sound like anything else you’ve used. If you don’t like it I’ll try to come up with different suggestion, but this one popped into my head and I came down to share it real fast.
Other girl names that I think might be options are [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name]. But for some reason I’m more stuck on girl names.
Your boy names all have those old-fashioned feel (which I love!!) so I would stick with that. This is basicaly be copying and pasting from my list but in example: [name]Edward[/name], [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Walter[/name], [name]Ambrose[/name], [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Grayson[/name], [name]Henry[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Simon[/name], [name]Truman[/name].
