No longer relevant! I can see the growing annoyance with me so there’s no need for this thread anymore.
The more obvious ones: [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_u]Dell[/name_u], [name_f]Della[/name_f], [name_f]Deedee[/name_f]
More creative ones: [name_f]Lola[/name_f], Liddy, [name_f]Lolly[/name_f], [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Dolly[/name_f]
Maybe even [name_f]Edie[/name_f]?
Any of these catch your eye?
I’m confused, do you really mean [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] as a nickname, or are you aiming for nicknames FOR [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]'s a full name in it’s own right. There’s no need to make [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] a nickname for something else?
I think [name_f]Melody[/name_f] would be a good full name for [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].
[name_f]Elodia[/name_f]?
I do agree with @lawsonhaley though; [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is a name in its own right and was never used as a nickname historically.
Thanks everybody for your replies! I was just wondering if there are any names out there that could work. I almost always view names that end in -ie as nicknames
It’s three syllables and it’s a full name like many ie ending names, [name_f]Elodia[/name_f] could work but all [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is is the Spanish form of the same name [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is the [name_m]French[/name_m] form of. Making [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] a nickname is pointless since I have a three syllable e name ending with an ie sound and most people shorten that, people will still shorten [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
