Name for Quads

[name_m]Hi[/name_m],

I am expecting quads in about 3 months. We have 4 names, but one girl needs a middle name. Also baby 1 and 2 are identical.
3 girls, 1 boy.

  1. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
  2. McKynli ________
  3. [name_f]Brynna[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]
  4. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]
Our last name is Maytens. If you have any other name suggestions, please let me know as we are not dead set on these names.

EDIT #1:
New names.

  1. Olivia Reese
  2. McKinlie _________
  3. Brenna Nicole
  4. Lucas Alexander
Middle Name suggestion. I thought about Amanda as the middle name for McKinlie, but I’m not 100% sure. Any traditional name you think would go with her name. She would be going by Kinlie.

EDIT #2:
After reading all of the comments, then talking with my husband. We have agreed to knock out McKinlie as a name suggestion. Also not sure about Brynna or Brynn
Updated Names:

  1. Olivia Rose (middle name still not 100%)
  2. Caitlin Nicole

  3. Lucas Alexander
Random name suggestion: Anastasia Scarlett or Brooklyn Rowan

Assuming you really are expecting quads, why have the classic [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and then the uberly trendy and misspelled [name_f]Brynna[/name_f] and McKynli? [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t you think the other girls want to have proper names that they don’t have to spell out every time, too?
Suggestion for you: [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_f]Kinley[/name_f] & [name_f]Brenna[/name_f]

What I’d pair with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] & [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]:
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
[name_f]Ava[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]

I think I would avoid spelling Mckynli that way with your last name being Maytens. They look too similar. I would spell it McKinlie to make them seem more dissimilar. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] has a middle name that can be either masculine or feminine and McKinlie can go either way as well, so I would give her a feminine middle name. I like short middle names with long first names. You could go with traditionals like [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. Since [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a traditional name, I like the idea of giving McKinlie a traditional middle.

I see what you are saying with the spelling of McKynli. I just talked to my husband and he agreed with changing the spelling of it to McKinlie.
With a little bit of research I have found the suggestion of [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] for the middle name of McKinlie.

Okay, I apologize in advance, but I am going to be blunt…I do not like McKynli at all. I know everyone has different tastes and my tastes are not everyone’s favorites, but still. McKynli is just not cute. This spelling is very butchered and will always be mispelled. It looks incomplete or as if you have made a spelling error. Also, if [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and McKynli are identical, why have such glaringly different names? I’m all for having twins and multiples have individual names and such, but this is just so, so off.

You have [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], which are nice, strong, classic names. And then you have McKynli and [name_f]Brynna[/name_f], which are very trendy and stick out like sore thumbs. If you are insistent on a variation of [name_f]Brynna[/name_f], why note [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]? As for McKynli, I would scrap that all together.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and…
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]

With [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f], and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], which are more traditional in vibe, why have a McKinlie? It doesn’t fit at all. I don’t feel like they should be matchy, but it sticks out in a not so good way.

Ideas: [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_f]Michaela[/name_f].

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f].

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_f]Kathryn[/name_f].

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f], [name_m]Lucas[/name_m], and [name_f]Julia[/name_f].

Your boy’s name is fine (though I personally prefer [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] or just plain [name_m]Luke[/name_m]), but I’d take another look at the girls’ names.

[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] - [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is a great name, though I like [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]/[name_u]Reece[/name_u]/[name_u]Reese[/name_u] way better as a boy’s name.

McKynli ________ - McKynli is way too misspelled. If you’re set on using [name_u]McKinley[/name_u], spell it [name_u]McKinley[/name_u], but I’m not a huge fan of that either.

[name_f]Brynna[/name_f] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] - [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] is okay, but I really don’t like [name_f]Brynna[/name_f].

  4. [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] is AWESOME!

[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] are modern classics. [name_f]Brynna[/name_f] and [name_u]McKinley[/name_u] seem so trendy and honestly, already dated. [name_m]How[/name_m] about:

[name_m]Lucas[/name_m], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and:

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]

[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]

Talked to the husband and found out we both loved [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]. It was just one of those names that never crossed our mind. Thank you so much.

Asking for feedback on your name list is easier and more honest than pretending to be pregnant with quadruplets. There is nobody named [name_f]Kylie[/name_f] Maytens living in the United States.

I’m amazed a moderator hasn’t tried to investigate this one yet?
