Name for Sibling #4

I am trying to brainstorm for [name_f]Baby[/name_f] #4… we do not know the gender yet. [name_f]My[/name_f] first three kids are:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Casper[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Felix[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

We are Catholic and have chosen [name_m]Saint[/name_m] names so far, and it’s almost a requirement for the 4th to be, too. Although we like [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], who isn’t a saint for example. Some ones we have considered:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Clement[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Lucian[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

Opinions on the above appreciated, or new ideas!

Out of those names I’d pick [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] or [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] for you!

I wouldn’t go a C name again, just to mix up the pattern and so Felix not in his own the non C name.

I like Seraphina but I prefer Seraphine with your others (and generally). Rose is a lovely choice too. I like Mary-Rose as well.

I love Ambrose! I like Leo and Lucian but wonder if they get a little lost against Celeste and Felix. They’re all three great choices.

Other names:

Maximilian
Hugo
Raphael
Julian
Benedict
Xavier
Ignatius
Aloysius (I saw someone on here nn this “Wish”)

Isadora (for St Isidora)
Theodora
Leonor
Beatrice
Aurelia
Sabina
Loretta
Rosemary

I’d balance it out with another F name, so [name_f]Frances[/name_f] for a girl or [name_m]Francis[/name_m] for a boy.

Thank you! I think those are my top but [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is a hard sell to my husband for some reason

[name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is our current top boy name and I sold it to my husband with the nickname possibilities [name_f][/name_f]- he was converted by [name_m]Bram[/name_m], or [name_m]Bramble[/name_m]!

Aahh gosh absolutely love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] such beautiful names. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a sweet classic floral name that is timeless and I think feels cohesive within your sibling set. [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] feels like a wildcard she’s gorgeous, elegant and unexpected a bolder name that may appeal more if eclectic sibling sets are your thing.

[name_f][/name_f]

For boys I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] + [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]! [name_m]Leo[/name_m] is a sweet outdoorsy name that feels classic and I think sounds bright with your kiddos. [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] is a name that feels fun with a dark academia vibe. I actually think [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] fits really nicely within your sibling set.

On your options:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] → bright and elegant [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- stands out but also feels familiar

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Bianca[/name_f] → sparky and zippy with an energetic, sunny vibe. Could it maybe work if you used a [name_m]Saint[/name_m] name as a middle (if you use middles?)

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] → simple, elegant and classic [name_f][/name_f]- a lovely choice though maybe a little less sparkly for me than [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], and [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] :person_shrugging:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Lucia[/name_f] → international, arty, and sunny [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- out of interest, which pronunciation do you use?

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] → energetic, versatile and well-rounded [name_f][/name_f]- though it doesn’t ‘stand out’ like some of your other options

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Clement[/name_m] → a touch of old-fashioned clunkiness but sophisticated. It does however, look visually similar to [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] + gives you 3/4 C names, if that bothers you

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] → handsome with a cool meaning and elegant sound!!

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] → sleek and stylish [name_f][/name_f]- I like it

[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]

I’d add in:

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Vita[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Petra[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Ivo[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Rafael[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Isidore[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Ivan[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Maurice[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Edwin[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Emilian[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Leander[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Blaise[/name_m]

Oh gosh I am just swooning over [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and [name_m]Lucian[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_m]Francis[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Patrick[/name_m]
[name_f][/name_f][name_m]Peter[/name_m]

[name_f][/name_f]

[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Catherine[/name_f]

Thank you for your detailed answer!

[name_f][/name_f]

We would use Loo-see-uh and Loo-see-en. The multiple pronunciations is part of our hesitation on both names. [name_f]My[/name_f] name can be pronounced several ways and it never really bothered me, but I know it bothers some people. We do not like the sound of Loosha or Looshan, and I think that’s the more common pronunciation in the US, where we live.

[name_f][/name_f]

We love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] as well, it is on our longer list. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is one of my husband’s top names but on my veto list unfortunately. [name_m]Isidore[/name_m] and [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] have been tossed around in the past but fallen off the short list over time.

[name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Lucian[/name_m], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] I think are at the top for us right now, too.

[name_f][/name_f]

I’d say it’s one that it might be worth testing out? Maybe ask some people around you what they’re instinctive pronunciation would be, to see how many do go straight to loosh-un/loosh-uh?

[name_f][/name_f]

best of luck finding the one
