We are 39 weeks pregnant with our third child.
We don’t know if it’s a girl or boy.
We already have 2 boys [name]Joshua[/name] and [name]Reuben[/name].
Our surname is Frere (rhymes with bear or as in french for brother)
A boys middle name will be Bartle which is my husband’s family middle name and a girl’s [name]Victoria[/name] after my mum.
[name]Emmeline[/name] ([name]Emmie[/name]) pronounced Leen at the end
[name]Charlotte[/name] ([name]Lottie[/name])
[name]Beatrice[/name] ([name]Bea[/name])
[name]Beatrix[/name] ([name]Bea[/name])
[name]Elodie[/name]
[name]Ottilie[/name]
[name]Romilly[/name]
[name]Elise[/name]
[name]Etta[/name]
Thanks
[name]Do[/name] you think there are too many J’s in the family if we had Daddy whose name is [name]Julian[/name] then a [name]Joshua[/name].and [name]Jesse[/name]?
Was worried my son [name]Reuben[/name] might feel.left out.if all the other.males in the family had JBF initials
[name]Do[/name] you think it matters?
Boy choice: [name]Otis[/name] Bartle
My favorite of your ideas for the new little guy are [name]Leo[/name], [name]Otis[/name], and possibly [name]Benedict[/name] with nn [name]Ben[/name]. I love the idea of using a one-syllable name so each of your boys would have defferent lengths. Suggestions might be: [name]Dean[/name], [name]Max[/name], [name]Holt[/name], [name]Grant[/name], or [name]Troy[/name].
(If I were you, I wouldn’t use [name]Jesse[/name] or [name]Jude[/name] to avoide 2 names starting with J and leaving [name]Reuben[/name] out.)
([name]Monty[/name] is not my favorite and [name]Atticus[/name] doesn’t seem to fit into the same style as your other children.)
Girl choice: [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
My favorites are the ultra-feminine somewhat similar choices of [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], or [name]Elise[/name]. Also because your boys have consonants and this would give a girl the uniqueness of starting with a vowel sound. Suggestions: [name]Ariana[/name], [name]Elena[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], or [name]Opal[/name].
([name]Beatrice[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name] are my least favorite choices personally. [name]Romilly[/name] goes with my reluctance to use two R names next to [name]Joshua[/name].)
([name]Ottilie[/name] is cute too but doesn’t “match” to me, and [name]Etta[/name] seems more like a nickname than a first name in my opinion.)
hi…my vote goes to [name]Leo[/name] [name]Atticus[/name] for a boy or [name]Romilly[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name] for a girl…you have some nice names on this list…Congrats!
thanks blue sparrow…we already have middle names set.
do you still like those 2 you put best with our chosen middle names.
do you like [name]Issac[/name]…forgot to put on list
From your boy names I really like [name]Leo[/name], [name]Benedict[/name] and [name]Atticus[/name]
From the girl names I like [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Elodie[/name], [name]Elise[/name]. I normally like [name]Etta[/name], but not with your last name for some reason
If I were to choose I would pick [name]Benedict[/name] for the meaning, because it seems to match the spiritual meanings behind your other children’s names. If I were to pick a name that is more my style it would be [name]Leo[/name]! Of the girls I would go with [name]Beatrix[/name] for the meaning and the style.
Boy Faves: (1) [name]Leo[/name] Bartle Frere (2) [name]Otis[/name] Bartle Frere and (3) [name]Atticus[/name] Bartle Frere.
I think [name]Isaac[/name] Bartle Frere would be a lovely choice too!
I would avoid another “J” name ([name]Jesse[/name], [name]Jude[/name])
I wouldn’t name a child [name]Benedict[/name] Bartle (it’s too cartoonish)
I wouldn’t use [name]Monty[/name] - too nicknamey.
I wouldn’t choose [name]Beatrice[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name] because I find the names hard to say with your mn and surname.
I wouldn’t use [name]Romilly[/name] as it would share an initial with [name]Reuben[/name].
I wouldn’t use [name]Elodie[/name] or [name]Ottilie[/name] because they just seem so different in style to your Biblical boys.
I wouldn’t use [name]Etta[/name] because it’s too nicknamey.
