i have a question for those that use random name generators: what is your favorite or go to random name generator? do you use different ones for different occasions?
there’s so many CAFs that are randomly generated so i’m just curious because the ones i’ve found don’t seem as good.
also, i’ve made a few of my own name generators based on what i’m looking for at the time that i’ll list below if anyone is interested. i update them from time to time as well.

I usually use the same two random name generators. For more varied, international names, I use Behind the Name (Random Name Generator - Behind the Name), especially since it’s really easy to filter your search with guidelines.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite one is from this website: https://randomwordgenerator.com/name.php, and I love it because it’s just so simple, and gives such good names!
Your experimental generators are amazing!! I love how unique the names are, since sometimes random generators can feel like they’re just listing off popular names over and over. I’ll definitely make regular use of these

I usually only use random name generators for last names. Usually I use: Last Names — A generated list of random family names (randomlists.com).
It works well enough for my CAFs, but I wish it had more names and more different countries the names came from.
