I would go for [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u] for a girl and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Caius[/name_m] for a boy.
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f] is lovely for a girl and I love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m]
I prefer [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] on a boy, so my vote goes to [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m].
With your other children’s names, my votes would go to [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Caius[/name_m] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f]
Votes [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Caius[/name_m] because I think it’s fab. If I had the option (not a multiple choice poll!) I would have also said [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Ahava[/name_f], I think it’s way underused as a girls option.
Regardless of gender I think [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] sound fab with your other kids’ names.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Your kids’ names are so cool! If you see my signature, I love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] for a boy. I’m not totally horrified by it for a girl like I am a lot of ‘unisex’ names, but I do really like [name_f]Ahava[/name_f].
Back to boys, I really like the name [name_m]Caius[/name_m], but [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] has a much better flow.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
Thanks for all the feedback!
I have thought of a few more…
Boy names that I think match the older boys, [name_m]Job[/name_m] [name_m]Marcellus[/name_m] and [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] [name_m]Apollos[/name_m]:
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Caius[/name_m] (rejoice!)
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Justus[/name_m] (just)
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] (God is my help…but obviously, also a great one for being brought back from the dead, which is what our family felt like spiritually and in the atmosphere of our home when [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] saved us this past year!)
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] (salvation…also a great combo)
Girl names that match the older girls is harder ([name_m]Amare[/name_m] [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] and [name_f]Selah[/name_f] [name_f]Carys[/name_f]), as [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] is not quite as whimsical as [name_m]Amare[/name_m] (Amarae) and [name_f]Selah[/name_f]… but I would also like to include a form of “love” in there…
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f] (yes, underused, I’d agree, as one poster said above!)
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_u]Love[/name_u]
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] (supposedly it means yielding to prayer…some say Loving, too)
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] is fantastic though i love the meaning of Lazurus for you too.
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f] is still my favourite but i like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] too
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Amadea[/name_f] came to mind too
Thanks! I esp love the suggestions!
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Amad[/name_m]éa (it would allow me to throw that accent in, although I know most don’t agree, ha, but my girls have loved having that similarity). It also covers the matching meanings!!!
[name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Amabel[/name_f] is lovely but I think I’d either do [name_f]Amabelle[/name_f] as a nod to my all time favorite character (who I almost named my oldest after anyway, ha)…OR Amabella as it has a lovely, whimsical ring.
Thanks for suggestions, greyblue!
I love [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] too for meaning and matching boys, but I’m drawn to [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] for this baby/situation.
We shall see!
I like [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_f]Ahava[/name_f] the best for a girl and [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] [name_m]Judah[/name_m] for a boy. Good luck!
Thanks!
Now I am considering [name_m]Shyloh[/name_m] as spelling for a girl, to match [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] and [name_f]Carys[/name_f] in my other daughters middle names.
Also loving [name_m]Shyloh[/name_m] Esmé (beloved) to match the accents and meaning of love in the big sisters too!
Still struggling to figure out the boy version past [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u]. ([name_m]Caius[/name_m], [name_m]Timotheus[/name_m], [name_m]Justus[/name_m]… ?)
