[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts:

[name_m]Alec[/name_m]-I like this. It’s smart, witty & like-able.

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]-This is a good name, although quite common. It’s strong & classic. [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is a smart serious guy, but [name_m]Ben[/name_m] or [name_m]Benny[/name_m] is a little more easy going.

[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]-I love this, & don’t mind just [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. It’s so friendly.

[name_m]David[/name_m]-This is a nice solid name. A [name_m]David[/name_m] is kind, gentle, thoughtful & quiet.

[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]-I love this (although prefer [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] or [name_u]Eliot[/name_u]). It gives off a similar vibe as [name_m]Alec[/name_m] to me, & they’re great as brothers.

[name_m]Edgar[/name_m]-I like [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] a lot! A very under used dashing name. It’s simple yet not at all common. It’s a little artsy, but also strong & handsome.

[name_u]Freddie[/name_u]-Kind of cute. I don’t like [name_m]Fred[/name_m] though, because it just sounds sort of dopey. [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] is more charming. I prefer it as a nn for [name_m]Frederic[/name_m].

[name_m]Gregory[/name_m]-This is okay. I feel like it’s sort of dated, but not terrible. I’m not really sure how to picture one. [name_m]Just[/name_m] kind of a dad name, LOL.

[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]-This is alright. I don’t love it, but it’s perfectly nice & solid. It’s fairly popular. I think the nn [name_m]Ike[/name_m] makes it a little more unique & charming.

[name_m]Jack[/name_m]-This is also very popular, but I love it. It’s friendly, outgoing, sporty & witty.

[name_m]Jacob[/name_m]-Good solid name. Obviously there are a lot of them. [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] is quiet, thoughtful & outdoorsy.

[name_m]Joseph[/name_m]-I like [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] a lot. It’s handsome . [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is a nice guy who likes to read & learn, & is also a good friend. I don’t care for [name_m]Joe[/name_m] or [name_u]Joey[/name_u] for some reason though.

[name_m]Joshua[/name_m]-Meh, this is okay. [name_m]Way[/name_m] over done, & I just don’t find it as classic as some other biblical names. It was just so popular in the 80s & 90s that it seems dated.

[name_m]Julian[/name_m]-I love it! Top of my list. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] is quiet, kind & maybe a little outdoorsy like [name_m]Jacob[/name_m].

[name_u]Kai[/name_u]-I don’t love this, but not real reason why. I guess it’s kind of cool. I definitely picture a surfer dude.

[name_m]Lukas[/name_m]-Hm. This is not my style. It’s just sort of trendy these days. I’d at least do [name_m]Lucas[/name_m]. It’s fine…I’m just sick of it.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m]-I love this. Oddly, I’m not sick of this even though it’s #1 on the SSA list. Oh well. It’s my nephew’s name, & he’s a great [name_m]Liam[/name_m]. Very knowledgable, outdoorsy, athletic & a mediator.

[name_m]Nathan[/name_m]-This is a good solid name. Nice, quiet guy. [name_m]Nate[/name_m] is maybe a little more sporty though. I like [name_m]Nate[/name_m] a lot.

[name_m]Ned[/name_m]-So cute. I think that it’s really nick-namey though, so maybe would do it as a nn for [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. [name_m]Ned[/name_m] is witty & friendly.

[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]-Very popular, but a nice name. Maybe a little snobby.

[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]-I like this a lot. [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] is a bit mysterious & artsy, but a nice guy.

[name_m]Peter[/name_m]-Great solid classic. Friendly, smart & a good friend.

[name_u]Robin[/name_u] (for a boy)-I don’t know. This is one of those names that sounds too feminine for a boy & too masculine for a girl. I guess it reminds me of [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_u]Robin[/name_u], & he’s pretty nice.

[name_m]Simon[/name_m]-Very cute. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is kind of like [name_m]Alec[/name_m] & [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]. Witty & bright. Maybe a little nerdy, but in a fun way.

[name_u]Toby[/name_u]-This is okay. I’d prefer it as a nn for [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_u]Toby[/name_u] seems sort of childish on its own.

[name_u]Theo[/name_u]-Cute. Kind of like [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. Maybe it’s the chipmunk thing! I like it better as a nn for [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. It’s getting pretty popular.

[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]-This is a good solid name. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is thoughtful & likes to read, but also maybe a good handyman type guy. I don’t like [name_m]Tom[/name_m] or [name_m]Tommy[/name_m] much personally. Not sure why.

[name_m]Vincent[/name_m]-This is okay. I kind of like it. It could be an artist type name, but also could be a mobster, so not sure!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

Most of the names I would categorize them as Airy/whimsical… yet they could still suit a scholar.

Strong, classic, bright names. I don’t care as much for [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_m]Ned[/name_m] or [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] but the others have style that will last through the ages.
I would expect a chill, intelligent and down to earth guy from these names.
