[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u] is lovely. Its the first time I see Bryher and I do find a bit mismatched with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] when it comes in style. If you worry about jealousy, I wouldnt use Bryher. Maybe [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-Bryher [name_u]Storm[/name_u]?
I like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] (spelled this way) but not with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], since they are the same princess. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] (spelled this way) is beautiful, but with storm it sounds too literal. Maybe [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? Both still word names, but doesn’t quite sound as literal as [name_u]Winter[/name_u] storm.
Sorry, I voted “start back at square one” What are your other daughters’ names?
What are your other daughters called?
I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] better personally but that might change depending on the other girls’ names
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] was actually one of my choices before finally gave in to [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is an 80’s rock band…so it got tossed.
I vote to start over. [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely but too much with a sister named [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u] sounds like a candle. What about [name_u]Ever[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]?
We wont do rose as a first name because it is my grandmothers name. Our other children call her grandma rose.
daughter 1 is [name_f]Noelani[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
daughter 2 is [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
daughter 3 [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rayne[/name_f]
The spelling Bryher is an island. I don’t like [name_f]Briar[/name_f] because it could be mistaken as [name_m]Brian[/name_m]. and I love the literal [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u]. we would likely call her [name_u]Wynn[/name_u].
I love these names so much, but maybe not use them together. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is beautiful, and so is [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]/[name_u]Winter[/name_u], and I adore zpk’s suggestion to try [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], which is much less literal and gives me this beautiful image!
I am not a fan of your choices and spellings. I vote to start over.
If you love it, then go for it. I was just offering feedback. Good luck deciding! [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] is a cute nickname, as is [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], though I know some people don’t like it.
I do not like either Bryher or [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] with your other daughters names. Your daughters names are uplifting, warm, feminine & pretty. I don’t mind the literal - faith and dawn rain are uplifting and nice images. I would not want to be briar or winter among your other names. These names are cold, sharp and not pretty next to your other names.
daughter 1 is [name_f]Noelani[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
daughter 2 is [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
daughter 3 [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rayne[/name_f]
I’m usually all for different spellings, but Bryher is so rubbing me the wrong way for some reason. And [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is such a common middle now-a-days that it has lost most of its beauty.
Now, I have positive things to say…I love [name_f]Noelani[/name_f] so much! I’ve never heard it, but it’s great. [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Rayne[/name_f] are also so freaking beautiful! Your fourth daughter will need a gorgeous name to match her siblings.
In my opinion, [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] could fit as a first or a middle since it’s pretty cute and you love it so much. I would axe Bryher and [name_u]Storm[/name_u] because they just don’t match the sibset. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is overused, but if you’re doing it to honor your grandmother, that’s perfect.
I can give you some suggestions that hopefully will inspire you. I know our tastes are a bit different, but clearly they’re a lot alike as well, because I love all of your daughters’ names. So I’ll give it a shot.

[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]
[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Reina[/name_f] (subtle winter rain instead of winter storm =o!)
[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] (instead of just [name_f]Rose[/name_f])
[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]

[name_f]Reina[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_f]Scarlette[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
[name_f]Violette[/name_f] [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]
In general, I think [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] is better in the middle for me. I loved the way it sounded in the middle spot! I liked a lot of the [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] firsts, though. I would love to see a little girl with any of these names! I hope this helps you out at all. This list was fun to make =]
I think [name_u]Winter[/name_u] but not storm, unless you literally want to name your child something specific like
[name_u]Rain[/name_u] [name_m]Forest[/name_m] type things. That’s not a comment on that being off, I kinda like I actually but I think winter storm is a bit heavy. Maybe something lighter. I like winter rose but like you said it’s a band right … [name_u]Winter[/name_u] something else?
Hmm…what about…
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (maybe a bit too abrupt)
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u] [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (could use [name_u]Wyn[/name_u]/[name_u]Wynn[/name_u] as a nickname)
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Gail[/name_f] (or [name_u]Gale[/name_u], this spelling has the wind connection)
I’ve never heard of the island Bryher and I believe it would be confused with [name_f]Briar[/name_f] often. That may not bother you, but it is something to consider. And I’d think most people would spell [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] with an “i” initially. Personally, I’m for straightforward spellings but that’s up to you. Good luck!
I like [name_u]Wynter[/name_u]. I don’t typically like arbitrary “y” spellings, and I agree there might be better options given how pretty your other daughters’ names are, but [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] is growing on me. Bryher seems like it would cause a lot of spelling issues, and it actually reminds me of [name_m]Bryan[/name_m] the same amount as [name_f]Briar[/name_f]/[name_m]Brian[/name_m]. Plus I agree that [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and Bryher [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are too similar.
[name_m]Way[/name_m] back in my family tree there was a set of brothers named things like [name_u]Winter[/name_u], White, [name_u]Early[/name_u] Severe and Late [name_m]Hardy[/name_m] (with last name [name_u]Frost[/name_u]). So I see the charm in names like that, but [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u] seems very literal and harsh. I knew a girl named [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Breeze[/name_f] growing up, and everyone thought her name was fake. A word with similar meaning could soften it a bit, perhaps [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_u]Gale[/name_u], [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] or [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] (maybe too similar to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f])?
Middles that evoke an after-the-storm feeling are also pretty: [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Serena[/name_f], [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Selene[/name_f], [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_u]Paz[/name_u]
An alternative to [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would also be gorgeous: [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Rosette[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] Bloom, [name_u]Wynter[/name_u] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
Also, I’d never heard it before, but Nameberry says [name_f]Briallen[/name_f] (BRY-alen) is a Welsh name that means [name_f]Rose[/name_f], and it has a lot of the same charm as Bryher/[name_f]Briar[/name_f].
I would strongly recommend the spelling [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u]. That said, I infinitely prefer [name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (which I like) to [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_u]Storm[/name_u] (which I dislike).
I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] but not with the middle name [name_u]Storm[/name_u].
