GAME NOW CLOSED - GO HERE FOR ROUND 2: Name the Babies - G1R2 - Baby Name Games - Nameberry

Hey Everyone! Thought I’d revive an old game, that I haven’t seen on here in about 3 years.
Instructions in italics.

How it works is there are 5 families listed, each with their own picky criteria. Reply in the comments what names you would have them pick. After 48 hours, game closes. I will pick what I think the parents would pick, and we move on to round two where the families are now having another child. G1 = Generation 1 - after a few rounds the kids will “grow up”, get married to each other and become the parents.

I promise it’s easy and fun!

So just a quick example:
I would post:
Family 1: The James Family
Robert & Claire are expecting their first child, a little boy! They want a nice and common name for their son, something not “trendy”, but popular and easy to spell. Robert is a biologist and Claire’s MN is Acacia, so MN should be a plant.

Family 1: Harrison Family
Alexander Timothy & Chloe Sophia are proud of their Greek heritage and their Greek names, but they wished they had more unusual names! For their first child, a daughter, choose a strong, unique Greek name. For her middle name, it should be a mashup of Alexander and Chloe’s names (first or middle is fine), but still sound like a name.

Priscilla Smith and Rachel Salutine are adopting a little boy. He is coming from Switzerland, and while they do not know his name, they would like to give him a name that honours his heritage. They would like his middle name to reflect an attribute they would like for their son, something about independence, courage, or kindness. (Please say the name’s meaning and/or how it related to Switzerland if it isn’t obvious).

Flora & Niall are so excited to be expecting their first child, a girl, together! The trouble? Finding a name they both love. Flora loves light, musical names while Niall wants something substantial that sounds like a CEO at a company. For her middle name, they’ve agreed to honour Niall’s mother, Caoimhe Rose (feel free to interpret creatively).

Clementine & George are expecting B/B twins! George wants names with a history in sports - ideally easily tied to celebrities who excel at their chosen sport. Clementine wants both first names to have a gender neutral nickname. Middle names should be short and simple - the shorter and simpler, the better!

Family 5: Allie & Robert are thrilled to be having a little girl! Allie wants to pick something unusual but recognizable, and Robert wants a name that can be tied to astrology. For middle names, Allie has her heart set on a gemstone name to honour her mother, Gemma, and Robert is agreeable.
