We really need help naming our little boy. He has two older girl siblings [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Alma[/name_f]. Our surname starts with L so I think we’ve largely ruled out L names . I love [name_u]Remy[/name_u] but think that perhaps it’s too many R names. In saying that we are considering [name_m]Artie[/name_m] which has a strong R sounds… We are considering [name_m]Walter[/name_m] as a middle name.
[name_f]Welcome[/name_f]. Congratulations on your upcoming birth.
I do like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]. I’m not quite sure what you mean by too many Rs, but if you’re referring to all 3 kids names starting with the same sound, I quite like it.
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] is a great name, but it feels too similar in sound to [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Wren[/name_u] to me. [name_m]Artie[/name_m] is kinda cool.
I think [name_u]Remy[/name_u] doesn’t work because it almost rhymes with with [name_u]Wren[/name_u]. I do think the right R name would make a cute sibset
You have chosen lovely names for your daughters and personally, I would avoid an R name. I think a shorter name would work well depending on how many syllables are in your last name and if it flows well. Suggestions…
[name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and… [name_m]Bastian[/name_m] ‘Bash’? [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] also came to mind.
Thank you for all your suggestions. Our little man was born on [name_m]Friday[/name_m]. We named him [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] Lornie.
[name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_u]Rain[/name_u]
[name_u]Reed[/name_u] (but perhaps not with [name_m]Walter[/name_m] as a middle)
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
ETA. [name_m]Just[/name_m] saw the announcement re: [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]… haha… [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is adorable.
I like [name_u]Remy[/name_u]. But I’d also vote for [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]/[name_m]Roman[/name_m]…I just feel like that really fits the vibe/flow. Also, [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] is like [name_m]Artie[/name_m] in that it has a strong “R” sound.
