Let’s say in a perfect world, where we were able to build our own “perfect” family - pick however many girls and boys we wanted and name them any name we wanted, what would it be? This is purely for fun!
I would want a boy as the older brother to a little girl. Perhaps 3-4 years apart! I would name our son either [name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Bruno[/name_m] Cranmer or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Bruno[/name_m] Cranmer. I would name our daughter either [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Cranmer or [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] Cranmer.

Me and my partner both agree (even though we are at least 3 years away from TTC) ideally we would want a boy first. It’s pretty likely he will be [name_m]Odin[/name_m]. Middle name is subject to change. We have been thinking lately [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] would be too common so might choose [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] instead.
My firstborn daughter (ideally quickly after [name_m]Odin[/name_m]) would be [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] as it’s my favourite name ever. I like [name_m]Odin[/name_m] and [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] together. [name_f]Mallory[/name_f]'s middle name has been [name_f]Eris[/name_f] in my head but I also like [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. I worry [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] isn’t feminine or unusual enough on it’s own as well.
I would like another daughter as sisters have a special bond (or me and mine do). She is likely to be [name_f]Athena[/name_f] nn [name_f]Atia[/name_f].
[name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_f]Mallory[/name_f] and [name_m]Odin[/name_m]. Or [name_f]Atia[/name_f], [name_u]Mal[/name_u] and [name_m]Odin[/name_m].
I also play around with the idea of a forth. Another girl would be [name_f]Petra[/name_f] [name_f]Alcyone[/name_f] or [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f]. A boy would be [name_m]Vidor[/name_m] [name_u]Tarot[/name_u]. Both of these are untested names though.

I’m feeling rather disenchanted with my girls’ names at the moment, so my perfect family seems to be leaning towards lots of boys, and lots of kids haha. But I’ve always imagined my last child will be a boy somehow.

This is definitely unrealistic at this stage, as we haven’t really agreed on these names. Also, although we both like the idea of four children, I think it’s highly unlikely we’ll have that many.
In a perfect world where I could afford as many kids as I wanted, I would have up to 8 or even 10. I would prefer an even number though, for some reason. A mix of biological and adopted, of course, I’m not birthing that many lol. Ideally I would have a girl first since that’s what I’m used to (I have 2 sisters, both my cousins are girls, etc). I would also love a set of B/G twins or another set of multiples as long as they’re not all boys since I don’t think I could handle that.
I don’t care a whole lot about gender, but I do want at least one of each. My brother and I drive each other crazy, but I’m kinda glad I don’t have a sister instead. Ideally, I would want three, but I would be okay with 2 or 4 depending on what my life looks like and what my partner wants. I think I’d like to have the first two within a couple years of each other and the last about 4 or 5 years after the second. It would be nice if the first two were opposite genders as well. I kinda always wanted an older brother, but I enjoy being an older sister a lot, too, so either dynamic wold be nice.

What a beautiful family that would be I love the unique names! [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] are 2 of my favs. All beautiful combos! I have a sister too and we are very close. I’d love if I had a daughter and she could have a sister. But not sure if we’d try for a 3rd if we had a boy and a girl.
