DF is a lot like most of the members on here…he likes old names. Not just classic old names like [name]Katherine[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name], but SUPER old names like [name]Nannie[/name], [name]Maud[/name], [name]Edna[/name], [name]Gertrude[/name], [name]Mildred[/name], and [name]Agnes[/name].
I, however, HATE those names and am more inclined to go with [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Elisabeth[/name] (spelled this way for some reason), and even [name]Cadence[/name].
The ONLY name we can agree on so far is [name]Lucille[/name] nn [name]Lucy[/name].
We get along famously with boy names. No problem.
So I’m challenging you, Nameberries. [name]How[/name] do we compromise? [name]How[/name] do we take a 100+ year old name and turn it into a name I might actually want to bestow upon a daughter?
I really need your help!
