It looks like they couldn’t decide which spelling to go for so went with all of them in one
Me: I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Parker[/name_u] for girls!
Poster: People that like boy names for girls think masculinity is inherently better than femininity so you are sexist:)
Me: Actually, I have stories and reasons behind both!
Poster: But they used to be boy names so you are sexist:)
Me: Okay, well I also love [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] and [name_u]Lark[/name_u] for boys!
Poster: You shouldn’t use your kids’ names to make political statements about gender:)
Why I applied for a job at Starbucks: need money for college
What I really want: to hear customers’ names
I always thought [name_u]Parker[/name_u] was more of a girls’ name, LOL
Same! The only [name_u]Parker[/name_u] I know in real life is a girl.
My son-in-law’s middle name is [name_u]Parker[/name_u], so I love it on a boy. But I like it even better on a girl, go figure.
I have a female character named [name_m]Gryffin[/name_m]. There isn’t really any deep meaning behind it. I was 14 at the time and just didn’t know that [name_m]Gryffin[/name_m] was a boys’ name (or that it was usually spelled [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]).
I was just like “her twin is [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u], let’s name her after a mythological creature as well”.
Also, I may have been getting [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] confused with [name_f]Gretchen[/name_f].
My cousin has a friend named [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]. She talks about her, like, all the time. It was like “yesterday was [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]’s birthday! [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] is my best friend! [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u]!”
And now…
The name [name_u]Griffin[/name_u] looks funny!
Me in my current battle to discern good boy combos from great ones in my current shortlist:
EVERYONE ATTACK!!
RETREAT!!
ATTACK!!
RE-TRE-EAT!!
What are you doing? Get back on your feet!
But there ARE SO MANY OF THEM!
I’m sorry, is this not your speed? [name_u]New[/name_u] topic?
Ready, sir!
Have Quick Polls take the lead!
Why is this so relatable Not just with polls either. I feel like this happens to me in a lot of different threads lol
You could name your kid [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Bowen[/name_m], and he’d have the word “elbow” in the middle of his name… DaniEL BOWen
This is too beautiful
This is true [name_u]Berry[/name_u] behavior-
In the car after a doctors’ appointment
You, threateningly: If I had to hear that lady at the front desk say “This is [name_f]Stefania[/name_f]/Stephania” one more time…
Common middle names: [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_u]Anne[/name_u]
Common middle names in sitcoms: [name_u]Morgan[/name_u]
(Seriously. I know like two sitcom girls with the MN [name_u]Morgan[/name_u].)
this is too wonderful for words.
[name_f]France[/name_f] be like: all girl names ending in T in [name_f]English[/name_f] end in tte in [name_u]French[/name_u], and all names in [name_f]English[/name_f] ending in Y end in ie
Spain/Italy: no ph; F
[name_f]Russia[/name_f]: [name_u]Basil[/name_u], hmm, not a name. Here in [name_f]Russia[/name_f] it’s Василий (Vassiliy pronounced vah-SEE-lee)
