my parents chose my name on purpose, because they said it was in the second half of the top 100, which they thought was a sweet spot for popularity. (except that it wasn’t in the second half of the top 100 it was actually just outside the top 500 and they were running on data from a different country (having recently moved). also, somewhat unrelatedly, my name wasn’t actually in the top 100 there, either (though it was closer! my name made it to the top 100 in their country six years after i was born). my name has never been in the top 100. but they tried!)

Hi all!

This isn’t to spoil anyone’s fun, but as it has been flagged up a few times recently, could we request that if there’s swearing in your meme, could you blank it out either with [ spoiler ] [ / spoiler] or asterisks ( * ) - just to keep Nameberry a comfortable place for everyone! Or place it under a cut ( [details = “Summary” ] [/ details] ) if it’s an image or video link.

Thank you for your understanding.

[name_m]Ah[/name_m] yes, in my family we have [name_m]William[/name_m], who had a son named [name_m]William[/name_m], who had a son named [name_m]William[/name_m], who had a son named [name_m]George[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], who had a son named [name_m]Frederick[/name_m]

Direct quote from me, just now: “Vatican City [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_f]Chamomile[/name_f]. Yep, sounds like a great name.” We did end up naming a character [name_m]Brian[/name_m] V. C. Blueberry (the initials don’t technically stand for Vatican City, but they could).

sorry for double posting, but yesterday our dad made us chicken, and he asked us how it tasted (it was delicious for the record). [name_f]My[/name_f] sister said “oh, it tastes lovely!” I almost choked because I’ve never heard anyone outside of Nameberry use the word lovely to describe anything :sob: :sob: :sob:
