Hello!!

First , I would like opinions on which variation of a name you like better…

[name_f]Mariella[/name_f] or [name_f]Marietta[/name_f]?

Second, what are some unique full names for [name_f]Etta[/name_f] that is pretty and flows well?

:))

Lietta! Another suggestion

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f] was my favourite!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite full name for [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]!

I prefer [name_f]Marietta[/name_f], it has a punchier ending.

I like [name_f]Loretta[/name_f] & [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] as full names.

Both [name_f]Marietta[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] are great names. I think I have a slight preference for [name_f]Marietta[/name_f] because [name_f]Etta[/name_f] really is a super nn. Other names that could give nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f]:

[name_f]Georgette[/name_f], [name_f]Georgetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriett[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Arrietty[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]

Tricky one!

I’m 50-50, I prefer Ella with a long (four syllable) name but but I do like the punchy sophistication of an Etta ending. Maybe I’d decide to go Marietta just to stand out among all the Ella/Bella names but I’m still fond of Mariella (and now I’ve finished my post, I’d choose Mariella!).

Other Etta names:

Loretta
Rosetta
Henrietta
Arletta
Lisetta
Julietta
Lucetta
Musetta
Bernadetta

Then others (which could have (T)A’s on them at the end but I prefer without):

Harriet
Scarlett
Suzette

You could otherwise smoosh, eg Etta-Fleur etc but he careful with Etta = Et a (meaning, “ate a”) so if “Et” is still used for “ate” on occasion where you are, wouldn’t use Etta-Rose, Etta-Plum (or something you could feasibly eat). Or just use Etta!

[name_f]Mariella[/name_f] is my favourite of the two, but I like both.

Other options:
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] - my preferred way to “Etta”
[name_f]Elizabetta[/name_f] - I think it’s cool, but quite long for my tastes!
Bieta - I saw this somewhere in my family tree, thought it was super pretty!

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]! It’s so pretty!
[name_f]Marietta[/name_f] would have to be my favourite [name_f]Etta[/name_f] name, but…
[name_f]Julietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Arietta[/name_f]
Lietta
[name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]

marietta xx

i love julietta and jetta

I prefer [name_f]Marietta[/name_f] to [name_f]Mariella[/name_f]! I think it feels more sturdy and a touch less saccharine.

To get to [name_f]Etta[/name_f], how about…
[name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Louetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]

[name_f]Vendetta[/name_f]
Corvette
[name_f]Noisette[/name_f]
[name_f]Josette[/name_f]
Cornetta

I prefer [name_f]Marietta[/name_f], I like the sharp T sound and something about [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] isn’t landing with me. Its reminding me of something unfortunate but I can’t put my finger on what it is that it sounds like to me.

[name_f]Violetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Julietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgeta[/name_f]
[name_f]Bernadette[/name_f]
[name_f]Paulette[/name_f]
[name_f]Annette[/name_f]
[name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivette[/name_f]

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f] by a mile. I like the structure the -Etta ending brings, [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] is just a bit too mellifluous and flowy for me, no hard consonants to pin down the fluidity so I find it a bit wishy-washy.

Names to get to [name_f]Etta[/name_f]

[name_f]Antoinette[/name_f]
[name_f]Arrietty[/name_f]

[name_f]Margaretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Kismet[/name_f]
[name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]!

Another suggestion is [name_f]Zetta[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Marietta[/name_f] better!

[name_f]Coretta[/name_f] or [name_f]Caretta[/name_f] is pretty.
I also like Rhetta.

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]! It stands out against all the [name_f]El[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] names, and is more eye-catching. It also has nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f] which I adore.

[name_f]Marietta[/name_f]! Mostly because in the musical Parade its the name of the town a character is from and I love how they pronounce it in the recording (Mah-ree-etta, not Mar-ee-etta)

[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] is my favorite full name for [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
