I am in desperate need of names for a pair of little girls. I am adopting 14 month old twins, and they should be ready to come home on [name_u]June[/name_u] 22nd!! My only problem is that I, unfortunately, do not like their names.
It sounds terrible, I know, but I don’t find their current names, [name_f]Neve[/name_f] (rhymes with [name_f]Bev[/name_f]) and [name_f]Bree[/name_f], to be satisfying. I was going to move their first names into the middle name spot, and give them a new, and hopefully longer, first name.
I have adopted two boys already in the past: [name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] (9) and [name_u]Dorian[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] (5). With the both of them I also did the entire switching names thing.
Overall, I would love and appreciate girl name suggestions that are longer than their original four letters names, flow well with [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Bree[/name_f] as middle names, don’t sound terrible with my last name ([name_u]Quinn[/name_u]), and is a decent sibset with [name_u]Micah[/name_u] and [name_u]Dorian[/name_u].
It’s sort of specific, but I have a feeling most name-nerds sort of have this. So I trust you to help me out, guys!
Congratulations on the adoptions! Some names that I think of (without taking middle names into account) are [name_f]Kadence[/name_f], [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], [name_f]Raina[/name_f], and [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f].
Some of my favorites with [name_f]Bree[/name_f]:
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
Some of my favorites with [name_f]Neve[/name_f]:
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] nn [name_f]Katie[/name_f]
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] (although it may be too rhymey- [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u])
I’m honestly not sure how much this helped, but I’m positive you will choose the perfect name for your new additions!
I’ll be honest, I’m just going through my list of favorite names and putting down the ones that flow well and seem to be your style (because they go with your sons’ names).
My first thoughts, before I finished reading your post, are [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], but those are possible longer version of their current names.
Most of these could work with either [name_f]Neve[/name_f] or [name_f]Bree[/name_f] as a middle name and paired with any other name, but I put them into combos and pairs.
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Estella[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Bree[/name_f] (possibly [name_u]Penny[/name_u] and [name_f]Josey[/name_f])
