[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
Can you think of some names to bestow on a first born child/eldest based on their meaning or other link to being first born/eldest?
Can be directly linked to meaning or a bit more creative… both genders.

I love the idea of [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]! It’s botanical but it also means “first rose”. [name_f]Primula[/name_f], another botanical name, also means “very first”.
A few more I’ve found:
Boys:
Ensio - “first”
Preben - “first battle”
[name_m]Primo[/name_m] - “first”
Proteus - “first”
Andranik - “older”
[name_m]Alef[/name_m] - first letter of the Hebrew alphabet
Girls:
[name_f]Prima[/name_f] - “first”
[name_f]Winona[/name_f] - “firstborn daughter”
Aadya - “first”
[name_f]Aleka[/name_f] - “older sister”
I think Adam works for the first boy (since it’s in your signature), Eve/Eva/Evie for a girl.
Kaya is Native American for older sister
Heva as a form of Eva
Primus like Primo above
Taro is japanese for the oldest son
Ensio comes from the finnish word for first
Alpha like the first letter of the greek alphabet
Girls-
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] - first woman on earth
[name_f]Wenona[/name_f] - first born daughter
Akia - first born
Aristi - first born
[name_f]Hana[/name_f] - one
[name_f]Kadie[/name_f] - first
[name_f]Ona[/name_f] - number one
Boys-
Kensa - first
sorry couldn’t find that many boy names
Thanks for these thoughts everyone!
