Names for large litter of ginger kittens

We are fostering a pregnant cat called [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] through our local animal rescue volunteer branch (it is [name_f]Spring[/name_f] in Australia and most definitely kitten season). She is a beautiful light ginger domestic short hair which must be how she obtained her name.

The rescue has asked us to name the kittens in a theme OR starting with the same letter.

She gave birth to 11 ginger kittens. I didn’t know this could happen as our previously fostered cats had 5 or 6 kittens! They are all ginger (I’m assuming Dad was ginger too). We have 9 surviving kittens currently. We will wait a while before naming them but want to start thinking through options. We don’t know the sexes yet.

I would appreciate suggestions on themes to name a large litter of ginger kittens. Thanks in advance.

I didn’t either. I’ve heard of special breeds having larger litters but I thought this girl, who is small and young, would have a small to average sized litter. We have 9 surviving kittens. Previous cats we’ve fostered have had 5-6 kittens. This is why I need help with naming this time around!

Instantly clicked on this to add a spice theme alas it has been mentioned but that maybe biased as I always thought if I got a [name_f]Ginger[/name_f] cat I want to name it [name_u]Curry[/name_u] or Tumeric :sweat_smile:

I like the ideas of gemstones and Elements too.
