[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!
I love the nickname [name_u]Connie[/name_u], as I think it would be great for a little girl or a grown woman! But I really am not a huge fan of naming my future daughter [name_f]Constance[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Connemara[/name_f] but I’m looking for other options as well!
Thanks in advance
Not crazy about either [name_f]Connemara[/name_f] or [name_f]Constance[/name_f], but I do love [name_u]Connie[/name_u]!
I think it can work on its own, but if you’re not into that you could use [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Coraline[/name_f], [name_f]Catalina[/name_f], [name_f]Corisande[/name_f], [name_f]Cleone[/name_f]. Or a name like [name_f]Cora[/name_f]/[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] with an N middle name like [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] “[name_u]Connie[/name_u]”
I’m seconding [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f], [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] from above!!
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f] or [name_f]Corinna[/name_f] came to mind too
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u], Carrington, [name_f]Coleen[/name_f], [name_u]Connolly[/name_u], [name_u]Connery[/name_u]?
[name_f]Consuelo[/name_f]–especially if your last name is not Hispanic. I would love to meet a [name_f]Consuelo[/name_f] O’[name_m]Brien[/name_m] or [name_f]Consuelo[/name_f] [name_u]Parker[/name_u].

[name_f]Carolina[/name_f] and Contessa are the only others I can think of.
[name_f]Connemara[/name_f] is absolutely stunning. [name_f]Consuelo[/name_f] is different too. Sorry I do not know of any others except for [name_f]Constantia[/name_f], but it may not suit you as it is very close to [name_f]Constance[/name_f].
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] comes to ind first. Then any C name with an N middle, like “[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Calla[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f]” or “[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]”…
[name_f]Conwenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Concorde[/name_f]
[name_f]Condoleezza[/name_f] (jk)
Pres. [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Roosevelt[/name_m] had a sister named [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] who was called ‘Conie’, which I imagine has a long O sound like Coney Island, but it’s just an example of an unexpected nickname… You could conceivably use any C name that contains O and N to get ‘[name_u]Connie[/name_u]’.
[name_f]Corisande[/name_f]
[name_f]Colleen[/name_f]
Acony (pronounced ‘a-KOH-nee’, with a long O, in the [name_f]Gillian[/name_f] [name_m]Welch[/name_m] song ‘Acony [name_u]Bell[/name_u]’, about a small spring flower that blooms in the Appalachian Mountains, botanical name Shortia galacifolia)
Cunegonda, Corinthia, Corentine, [name_f]Corvina[/name_f], [name_f]Coronetta[/name_f]…?
ETA: For what it’s worth, I used to dislike Constance too but it has grown on me. It has a great meaning and such a long, illustrious history.
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] could be a nice name with the nickname [name_u]Connie[/name_u]!
The names that came to my mind are:
[name_f]Collette[/name_f]
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u]
[name_u]Camryn[/name_u]
[name_f]Cornelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Constantine[/name_u]
Okay, I’m just putting some crazy suggestions out there.
Names that fit with ‘con’
[name_f]Conchetta[/name_f]/[name_f]Concetta[/name_f]
[name_m]Conelly[/name_m]
[name_f]Concordia[/name_f]
[name_u]Falcon[/name_u]
Names that are close enough, I guess
Kahlia
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_u]Calypso[/name_u]
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f]
It’s my opinion that the long form should have more syllables than the nickname, but obviously there are exceptions, and that’s just my opinion.
I love [name_u]Connolly[/name_u]! It means love and friendship which is beautiful.
I also know a woman in her 20’s whose full name is [name_u]Connie[/name_u] so it can work on its own.
[name_f]Concetta[/name_f]
Contessa
[name_m]Connor[/name_m] (I love boys names on girls)
[name_f]Consolata[/name_f]
Connecticut
[name_f]Concordia[/name_f]
Conita
