I really love the name [name]Evie[/name]. I’m one of those people who prefer it as a nickname though and am looking for a full name.
Our last name is three letters so I want a longer name than [name]Eva[/name].
I don’t like [name]Evelyn[/name].
I’m partial to [name]Genevieve[/name] but don’t think I could get hubby to agree.
Any suggestions?
[name]Evangeline[/name]
[name]Evangelina[/name]
[name]Evanthe[/name]
Evalie
Good luck!
I love [name]Genevieve[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name]! I would definetly fight for it! I’m also one of those people who prefers a formal name with a nickname vs. just the nickname itself, so I feel your pain.
Hmmm, so no [name]Eva[/name] or [name]Evelyn[/name]. There’s [name]Evangeline[/name] which is the same style as [name]Genevieve[/name], or [name]Geneva[/name],[name]Ginevra[/name], Evolet,[name]Everly[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Evanthe[/name] (really anything with ‘eve’ or letters e and v.)
An idea that might be good is for [name]Evie[/name] to be an acronym nickname. [name]Say[/name] you named your daughter [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], she could be [name]Evie[/name] since her initials are EV.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps!
Off the top of my head:
[name]Evan[/name] (but that’s probably too short)
[name]Elvira[/name]
[name]Niamh[/name] (pronounced NEEV)
[name]Lavender[/name]
[name]Aoife[/name] (pronounced EE-FUH)
[name]Evelina[/name]
[name]Yvonne[/name] ([name]Ivonne[/name], [name]Evonne[/name])
[name]Beverly[/name]
[name]Yvette[/name]
[name]Vivienne[/name] (also [name]Vivian[/name]/en, but that spelling is considered masculine)
[name]Evita[/name]
…my brain thinks of nicknames differently than other people’s I think.
You guys are good!!!
I hadn’t thought of the initial EV idea and think it’s clever. I like [name]Eloise[/name] so this is a possibility.
I also really like the [name]Vivienne[/name] suggestion and think the [name]Vivi[/name] nn is cute.
[name]Lucky[/name] i’m only TTC at the moment so have time to find the perfect name.
Thanks!
