I love that you posted these! I really like Kenwood and [name_f]Treva[/name_f]! I have looked through my g-g grandfather’s yearbook from 1948 before and some unique ones that stuck in my mind from there were Flornella, [name_f]Sosie[/name_f], Brentwood and [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m]. A lot of the vintage names like [name_f]Dolores[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] were in his yearbook too. Such treasures!

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] was my grandmas name. It’s also phonetically sounds out my initials LC so I may use it for a MN for my girl. I likes Jollet and Kenwood.

Ooh how inspiring! I think I’ll pull out my grandparents yearbooks and see what “unique” names from the past that I can find.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] these!

I love [name_f]Zilla[/name_f]. It’s a shame that, as the Nameberry entry for the name suggests, it’d probably get all sorts of Godzilla jokes :frowning:

Wow this makes me want to go through my relatives old high school yearbooks. Maybe I will do that. I think my favorite is [name_m]Audley[/name_m] there’s just something about it that I like.

Lots of Scandinavian names, is this a school somewhere in or around Minnesota? I think that’s where they immigrated to lol.

I like some of these. But Gayettta and Curvin and Cleason, wow, those are terrible!

[name_m]Both[/name_m] school were in Western Pennsylvania, which is why it is extra surprising to me that there were so many!

Also, I think [name_m]Audley[/name_m] fits with a lot of today’s trends that it could really take off.
