I’m working part time at a bridal boutique.
Today we had a bride named [name]Michael[/name]. Yes, as in [name]Michael[/name] [name]Jackson[/name], [name]Michael[/name].
Totally nms.
There was her bridesmaid [name]Heather[/name], her middle name was [name]Jade[/name]. [name]Heather[/name] [name]Jade[/name].
The owner of the boutique has three daughters, [name]Claudia[/name] [name]Kathy[/name], [name]Sylvia[/name], [name]Natalia[/name]. (They’re Polish)
Loving the daughter’s names! We used to have a cleaner who was a Polish woman and she had 2 daughters named Anouksha and Katrinka. I especially love Katrinka!
I don’t normally have a problem with ‘unisex’ names (not my style, but they don’t bother me) but I don’t find [name]Michael[/name] even slightly attractive as a female name. It’s like naming a baby [name]Richard[/name] or something. It could always have been honouring, though.
Reminds me of [name]Michael[/name] Learned who was famous for her role as [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Walton[/name]. I read somewhere that her father had been the one to choose her name. He was expecting a boy and had the name picked so they just stuck with that. I think it is a little odd myself, but owell. There are plenty of unisex names out there that I only see as one-gender. There are far worse names you could give your daughter, I suppose.
i like all those names fine except [name]Michael[/name].
There’s a parent at my daycare, her name is [name]Tony[/name]. She named one of her daughters [name]Brooklyn[/name] [name]Michael[/name] and I always thought it was weird.
Poor [name]Michael[/name]. My mom was named [name]Randy[/name] because her parents wanted a boy. She has always hated it! The Polish names are pretty great, especially [name]Natalia[/name].
